Sales negotiations went as you'd expect from a dealership. Salesman did the age old tactic of "I'm gonna run and ask my manager real quick" about 5 times. As someone with a 700+ credit score and with interest rates as low as they are now, you'd expect maybe 1 or 2 hard checks on your credit. I ended up with 7. If you're going to finance, go through your own bank. Your credit score will thank you later. That 1% interest you save by financing through the dealer can cost you thousands if you're looking at buying a house within the next 2 years. Customer service while waiting was atrocious. I spent more time sitting alone waiting than I did speaking to someone or looking at the car. The times a human did speak to me they were friendly. More
