Most Amazing Experience! I live 5 hours from Mel Hambelton Ford. I found a vehicle online I was interested in and I inquired about it. During the inquiry I spoke with Stan Bog I live 5 hours from Mel Hambelton Ford. I found a vehicle online I was interested in and I inquired about it. During the inquiry I spoke with Stan Bogdan who I had never met or even heard of. During this process, he was upfront, honest and easy to deal with. I didn’t feel like he was fluffing or spinning things. We made some verbal agreements via phone and my husband and I made the 5 hour trip to Wichita KS. Now, we have purchased 20+ cars in the last 15 years so we know what to expect.... Coming to this dealership was nothing like I expected. We were greeted upon arrival and after a small 15 minute meeting with Stan all of the things we agreed to via phone was 100% accurate and stayed where we had agreed. No manipulation of numbers or twisting us since we just drove so far. And the normal 4 hours stuck in a dealership haggling over price was NOT their way, we were in and out within an hour and the price was worked out prior to us making the trip. It was easy and a relief knowing what we agreed on was met and everything promised was given. We were checked in on the next day to make sure we made it home ok, asked if we needed anything else and then a surprise came in the mail a week or so later.... We received a tin of fresh cookies! What a great thing to open up and I have NEVER received a thank you like that from any car deal I have ever done. In the future for us it is worth the car to Mel Hambelton Ford before we look elsewhere. Crazy to think a dealership 5 hours from my home has earned my business and I will be a repeat customer.
