I was overcharged when I went to pay. They fixed that part. However I was charged 79.95 for an oil change. This was about $25 more than I expected to pay based on previous visits. MANY TIMES THEY ARE IN A SITUATION THAT WAS OUT OF THEIR CONTROL AND THEY MUST TAKE CARE OF THE SITUATION. I HAVE SEEN THEM GO AND TALK TO MANAGERS IN THEIR DEPARTMENT AND IF NEEDED THEY AND THEIR MANAGER WILL GO AS FAR AS THEY POSSIBLE CAN TO MAKE YOU HAPPY, WHICH MAY INCLUDE GOING AS HIGH AS TALKING TO THE OWNER ABOUT THE SITUATION. IF NEEDED THEY WILL CALL THE MANUFACRURER TO SEE ABOUT A PARTICULAR SITUATION. YES THEY WANT YOUR BUSINESS, AND THEY ARE IN BUSINESS TO EARN THEIR LIVING AND THE LIVING FOR ALLL OF THE EMPLOYEES, BUT THEY WILL NOT TRY TO LIE OR CHEAT YOU JUST TO MAKE A DOLLAR OR TWO MORE ONE OF THE THINGS THAT I APPRECIATE THE MOST IS THEY WILL NOT PLAY THE GAME WHEN SELLING A VEHICLE OF TELLING YOU THEY ARE FIGHTING WITH THEIR MANAGER TO GET YOU A SPECIAL DEAL. WHEN THEY SELL YOU A CAR YOU SEE THE PRICE UP FRONT AND YOU CAN COMPARE TO OTHER DEALERS AND THEY HAVE ALWAYS IN MY DEALINGS TURNED OUT TO BE THE BEST POSSIBLE OVERALL PRICE WHEN I DID GO SHOP OTHER DEALERS. MELTON'S HAS BEEN ON OF THE MOST PRODUCTIVE DEALERS FOR THE CHRYSLER, RAM, OR JEEP FAMILIES YEAR AFTER YEAR. THEIR OVERHEAD IS LOW SINCE THEY HAVE BEEN IN THE SAME LOCATION MANY YEARS. THEY TREAT THEIR STAFF PROPERLY AND LET THEM KNOW THEY ARE APPRECIATED. I DONT KNOW WHEN AND IF I WILL EVER BUY A COUPLE OF NEW CARS WHE TAKING MY AGE AND THAT BOTH OUR RAM AND JEEP CHEROKEE ARE RECENTLY PURCHASED AND IN VERY GOOD SHAPE. however YOU NEVER KNOW WHEN SOMEONE WILL HIT OR TOTAL ONE OF LYOUR VEHICLES AND YOU JUST MIGHT HAVE TO GO BUY ONE.
