I had service to replace the nox sensor. Upon reviewing my invoice number, it was noted that the engine oil cooler leaked. It further stated that this was noted at the last visit on July 16, 2021. It was my invoice number, it was noted that the engine oil cooler leaked. It further stated that this was noted at the last visit on July 16, 2021. It was not noted on the July invoice. Frankly I was shocked that nobody in the service department informed me of the oil leak finding. Furthermore, it was up to me to review the paperwork to find this defect. I returned to the service desk to ascertain the status of what the repair would look like. The service advisor assured me that they would research the matter with the technicians and contact my extended warranty company to determine the next course of action. It took over a week with me initiating the phone calls to get the answer to my oil leak issue. I now have an appointment in over three weeks to make this necessary repair. This was the first available appointment. In regards to the Tacoma Service department, there appears to be a lack of adequate staffing to address the needs of the volume of customers that rely on service at this facility. This applies to more service technicians as well as service advisors to provide timely service to meet customer needs and expectations. More
