They were very nice and solicitous when we bought the car (a used Mini) but when we got it home the engine light went on. We called a few times before they would respond. They finally said to let them know w (a used Mini) but when we got it home the engine light went on. We called a few times before they would respond. They finally said to let them know what we found out the problem was after the Mini dealer looked at it. . The dealer found it needed an oil change ( which is $120). When we bought it they said they had checked and changed all the fluid including oil. We called Mercedes of Tacoma to tell them and To find out if their mechanic had just forgot to reset the engine light after he supposedly changed the oil and other fluid. It took over half an hour to reach someone in the Mercedes mechanic department but they said they had no record of working on the car at all. We then called the salesperson who told us that theY did in fact check the oil and other fluids and determined they were clean and the right level but in a Mini there is no oil dipstick. The only way to check the oil is to drain it. You can use the car computer to see the oil level but even if they did they should have added oil because it read low. Clearly they were lying that they did any checking or work before selling it. We asked if they would cover the cost of the work and the salesperson said I’m sure we will but I need to check with my manager and get back to you. We waited and waited for a call back and they never called. I would not recommend them and will not be buying another car from them again. More
