Was finishing up on recommendation from last. visit to have the brakes redone. Also needed to pick up an extra key I ordered for my husband. The loaner vehicle was given dirty and they didn’t even bother doing the complimentary car wash and vacuum on my vehicle even though it was included in the email they sent me. Coming from San Antonio, TX, I have high expectations when I think of Mercedes Benz service and quality, whether it’s labor or customer service. Those expectations were not met. Never had a call from anyone why they just charged 18.82$ from my credit card on file. I felt like they were trying to make me accountable for not changing the bulb while it was given in the summary of work from my credit card on file. There were issues with parts that caused a delay, not due to the dealership. Communication as to when the vehicle would be done could have been better. Good experience generally. John Morioka was a good, if somewhat inexperienced salesman. I was really put off by the hidden, unexplained fees associated with the transaction. I never received an adequate explanation for "government fees" although the fee became a negotiable part of the transaction. It was at least disingenuous, perhaps even dishonest to call what appears to be an additional profit center a "government fee". I got the deal I wanted, but through the back door. This was a cash deal, so there was no reason to have to wait more than an hour to meet with F&I just so someone could take another shot at me to spend more money on unwanted options. Jose, the F&I closer, was hasty and mostly uninterested once I said no, and couldn't wait to get me out of the office. More

This is the first time I've ever enjoyed purchasing a car, and I'm 57 years old now and have purchased quite a few. Before, I always hated the experience. This was totally different. You can really tell you're getting a Mercedes when you get treated this way - you would hope for the highest level of treatment with this level of car, but at the same time you don't expect it to actually end up being the case... but it is. This was a new, totally different experience. From the people at the front desk, through sales, to the finance guy at the end of the purchase, to the phone call from John Bovee the brand ambassador days after the purchase, everything is top-notch at MB Tacoma. Just walk to the service bay windows and watch the mechanics as they work, you'll see; they are all uniformed and it looks like a spotless Formula 1 garage. Never had an experience buying a car like this, could not be more pleased. Chris knows absolutely everything about the cars he sells and all my pre-purchase questions he knows the answers to by instinct at this point. His decades of experience show. Could not be more impressed with every aspect of this dealership, very easily the most professional sales and finance staff I've ever seen. More
