While vacationing in the WDC area my ignition failed and I had to have our car towed into your shop on a Thursday afternoon. I rated your team as great for their customer service. I was stranded in DC with my car having to be towed, your dealership/service department opened the doors for me after hours, had a loaner car all set u was stranded in DC with my car having to be towed, your dealership/service department opened the doors for me after hours, had a loaner car all set up when I walked on the door (even though it was well after closing time), helped me unload my suitcase from my car to rental. That all sounds simple, but they were so kind and helpful. The service team went out of their way to help, Dave called me first thing in the morning to discuss what my issue was, stayed in contact with me during the day and personally met me when I picked my car up. Your service team and sales people went as far as helping me pair my phone to the loaner car's Bluetooth. I cannot say enough about your people and your team, everybody was professional, treated me with respect and went out of their way to be helpful. I don't live in DC, but I have already told this story to two of my relatives who do. I also am a sales trainer and you can bet that when I speak about stellar service, I will be using your team as an example. Thank you! More
I brought the 2010 E550 in for a pre purchase inspection. The dealership was extemely busy when I dropped my car off. The staff was friendly and courteous both during drop off/pick up. My issue was with the loaner vehicle. This was one of the better experiences I have had with this dealership, likely because of the service representative with whom I worked (I have worked with others who were gruff). The car went in for a maintenance service but, as usual, the service technician found other things needing or about to need fixing. When the service representative called to inform me of work, he was honest in telling me what really needed to be done now and what could be deferred (the mechanic is looking to get a car into near perfect condition - this car has 97,000+ miles so not all work is essential as there is normal wear and tear). The price was reasonable because of the coupons that had been sent to me from the dealership otherwise I would have considered not using the dealership. All in all I was very pleased with the service and cost - and knowing that a Mercedes technician worked on the car. More
I was so pleased with Dave Smith. (This is my firs time with American Service Center.) Dave communicated with me in all aspects of the work to be done on my car. I have used this dealership since 2003 and will continue to do so as long as we own our Mercedes. Service is impeccable and reliable, the service center staff I have worked with have always been friendly an to do so as long as we own our Mercedes. Service is impeccable and reliable, the service center staff I have worked with have always been friendly and helpful, and I am confident that any work done will be done properly and with great care. I have never done any comparison shopping to try to find a less expensive alternative facility to service the car nor do I intend to: I trust the work done by the mechanics at Mercedes-Benz of Arlington and I would recommend both the dealership and the service center to anyone shopping for a Mercedes or who needs to have work done on theirs, regardless of its year or model. More
