I had a great car-buying experience with Atlanta Classic Cars. Salesman Alvin Downer was very helpful and made the process as smooth as it could be. There was a dealership closer to me with the same vehic Cars. Salesman Alvin Downer was very helpful and made the process as smooth as it could be. There was a dealership closer to me with the same vehicle, but I chose this one because of the great customer service. Highly recommend to others. More
I had gone to a different dealership just before coming to Atlanta Classic Cars. I found the sales person there to be rude and condescending. I decided to try one more place before ending my day and pull to Atlanta Classic Cars. I found the sales person there to be rude and condescending. I decided to try one more place before ending my day and pulled into your dealership. Keith greeted me and was very friendly. I told him what I was interested in and he showed me several options. I came back the next day with my husband. Keith had the two cars I was most interested in pulled to the front for us to see as soon as we arrived. He also had another car with all the options I wanted in a color that he had told me about the day before; I really liked it and decided it was the one for me! I was very impressed with Keith's attention to detail. He is an exceptional people person and I will recommend him to others if given the opportunity. More
We drove 4 hours to Atlanta with intentions of buying a BMW from a nearby dealership. While test driving a BMW, we drove by Atlanta Classic Cars and decided to test drive a Mercedes, as well. We were greeted by Nick when we pulled up and were so impressed by his professionalism and the car! Nick was very knowledgeable and used a "no pressure" sales tactic. 3 hours later, we were driving home in our new Mercedes. More
We started working with Jesse in May to special order a new 2014 ML350. She was absolutely WONDERFUL. One of the things that absolutely impressed me with Jesse and Atlanta Classic Cars was that they were n new 2014 ML350. She was absolutely WONDERFUL. One of the things that absolutely impressed me with Jesse and Atlanta Classic Cars was that they were nice and they are the complete opposite far from the "car salesman" stereotype. No pressure what so ever, and made you feel that you were the one that is important and they valued EVERY person that walks in the door. Some people get very intimidated to go to a Mercedes dealership because they feel they are judged whether they can afford the car. I will say, I have had that experience at another Mercedes dealership, but NOT Atlanta Classic Cars. They don't try to figure out if you can afford the car and even if you can't, they don't care. They welcome everyone to come and look at their cars. If Mercedes isn't reachable for a person at that time, and it is something that they want to work towards then they are happy to show you the cars and even test drive one if you like. Because they know, one day you will buy one and if not, you know someone that will. There are so many times you walk into a dealership and they have the attitude that if you are just browsing and looking around that they could care less about helping you because they are only looking for people who are serious. And they don't care if you buy from them because there will be someone else that will. So many times, I have dreaded going to look at cars because the moment you drive on a lot, sales people start running out the door to get to you first and bugging you over and over. At Atlanta Classic Cars, someone comes out and greets you and make you feel important, offer you a beverage and then let you look around and do whatever you need to and spend as much time as you need without feeling pressured. We contacted Jesse prior to arriving at the dealership and greeted us when we arrived and we test drove a ML. We had many questions about all the different options and she answered every question and provided valuable opinions and direction on what to order and what not to order. I will say there was only a couple of options that I didn't choose, otherwise my car had everything on it including a bunch of options that at the time you don't even realize you can order on the ML (SPLITVIEW, soft-close doors, 3-zone climate control Passenger Seat with memory & lumbar support, designo leather, and heated/cooled cupholders) because they hadn't released anything about the 2014 model year. Jesse went above and beyond to get all the information she could on what we could order. We could tell that she knew the product she was selling. She knew every option and how it worked which was great. There are so many times, salespeople just assume without knowing. We sat down and ordered everything and then the 3 month wait started which I was like a kid waiting on Christmas. Jesse was sending me a status regularly letting me know she checked on my car to see if anything had changed on when it would go into production. Also, she was great at returning my emails of me asking every tiny question that I had because I was so excited. A couple of weeks prior to the scheduled production date, Jesse contacted us to go ahead and get the financing taken care of so that wouldn't have to be worried about. The 3 months went by fast (but really felt like forever) and the car actually went into production earlier than expected which was wonderful. Jesse sent me an email the day my car was "born" (rolled off the production line) and told me that she should have it in a couple of days. The next day, I was very surprised when she sends me an email letting me know it had arrived at the dealership and had attached pictures of my new baby. We scheduled time to come in and take delivery of the car. Jesse ordered the few accessories she knew what I wanted and had them installed that morning so that when we arrived, the car was ready. There is so many times where you go and purchase a car and if you order accessories, you have to wait or bring the car back. Jesse went through every option I had ordered. Actually took me on a test drive where she showed me the DISTRONIC and OMG. That option is amazing. There were a couple times I was using my imaginary passenger break when the car in front of us was stopping at a red light and I was wondering if the car was going to stop. It did. You have to get used to being that trusting but I can tell you Mercedes Benz did a fantastic job on that. Jesse did tell us that we do have to participate in driving the car and that we couldn't just lay back and not pay attention. We laughed... because the car really does basically drive itself. We finished our test drive and we went back to the dealership to discuss a couple more add-ons then it was time to sit with the Finance Manager. And WOW. That took all of 10 minutes. The majority of the top of his desk is a computer screen/tablet where you click a couple of boxes to add pre-paid maintenance and extended warranty stuff and then you initial and sign in a few boxes. A couple of pages get printed on a printer then sign a hard copy of one page for MBFS and then you are done. We walked out and Jesse took our picture with our ML and we were leaving to go home. All i can say is, I will always buy a Mercedes and purchase it at Atlanta Classic Cars! We have purchased many cars of the years (BMW, Jaguar, Cadillac, Corvettes, etc.) and we have never been in the dealership less than 5-6 hours, EVER. If it wasn't for the huge amount of options I ordered that Jesse wanted to show how to operate, we would have been at the dealership maybe 30 minutes. I will say this is mostly due to Jesse getting all the financing taken care of prior to the car going into production but even then, she had a decision back very quickly. I have had my car for a week now, and there is NOTHING I would change. I am so happy I got everything I wanted and waited the few months to get it. I have to say I think I have the most beautiful ML ever built. But I am partial. :-) But I am totally serious. More
I was looking to purchase a BMW but after 3 horrible experiences at different dealerships I went to ACC and had an incredible experience. My wife even commented how great the experience was. My wife and I shopped the other MB dealers in town. We were looking to get the best price up front, and the first offer put on the table via E-mail was the best compared to the others dealers. When we vi were looking to get the best price up front, and the first offer put on the table via E-mail was the best compared to the others dealers. When we visited it only got better. Jesse is the antithesis of the car salesperson that gives that profession a bad rap. She was very professional. She asked good questions to determine our needs. She didn't pressure us at all. She sold the benefits of the product. We were fist time MB buyers, so we appreciated the info. Right through to when we picked up the car, she went through the features. She even paired our cell phones in the blue tooth. Since we've been back for one service, and that went smooth too. I'd recommend this dealer and Jesse in particular, as she made the car buying experience a good process. I've always hated walking into any car dealer because of it being a painful experience with the poor salespeople you get. Not here. More
I just happened to be driving by the dealership and a car on the lot caught my eye. I wasn't planning on purchasing a car that day, let alone two. But Keith took the time to help me put a deal together that on the lot caught my eye. I wasn't planning on purchasing a car that day, let alone two. But Keith took the time to help me put a deal together that worked for both a vehicle that I really wanted, and one that my wife didn't realize she wanted. Of the 35 or so vehicles I've purchased over the years, this process was by far the friendliest and least stressful one ever. I will certainly be recommending Keith and the team at Atlanta Classic Cars to anyone I meet who is in the market for a car. Thanks, Keith. Well done. More
Most of us don't like going to dealerships, because something always ruins that gear moment of buying a new car. But not this time. I have found the car that I want it to buy at Atlanta Classic Cars, something always ruins that gear moment of buying a new car. But not this time. Persistence would be the only way to describe Jim. I had worked with several sales associates locally and not one attempted to meet my needs as well as Jim. Jim stayed in touch via email and phone and never worked with several sales associates locally and not one attempted to meet my needs as well as Jim. Jim stayed in touch via email and phone and never treated me as if the sale was the only thing that mattered. You must understand that I was not a local customer for him. I resided more that 150 miles from the dealership a 3 to 4 hour drive, in another state. Jim took the time to stay in touch, even though we had only met once while I was in Atlanta on business. While there I decided to check the local dealerships for a 2009 MB with hopes that there might be a car at the right price and right for me. Atlanta Classic Cars was my last stop before returning home to Alabama. Jim and I discussed what I was looking for (model, mileage, money) he agreed to search and call if he should find my match. Six weeks later as I searched the internet I saw a 2011 MB, not what I wanted to pay and not my first choice. I emailed Jim and the conversation began. He worked a great deal and made the automobile affordable. No pressure, no slick sales technique, just clear and honest talk and pricing. Thanks Jim. More
