The previous owner had his initials painted in a break on the pin stripe, The dealer 'erased' the old initials, bu I bought a previously owned C300. The previous owner had his initials painted in a break on the pin stripe, The dealer 'erased' the old initials, but it left a very faint shadow and a non-sensical break in the stripe on both the driver and front passenger doors. I told the dealer that if they couldn't fix it, I would forever feel like I was walking up to "JD"'s car, not my own. So in this visit, the shadows were completely buffed out, and the sections of pin stripe were filled in. It was a perfect match, And I'm happy.
