Above and Beyond First let me start by saying, coming from BMW, where the customer service is great, I was a little hesitant. Then after only having my 2014 C250 for not even a month and the check engine light came on, I was thinking "What have I done?" I took the car in to be checked and was told they needed to keep it for at least 48 hrs but didn't have a loaner available for 3 weeks!!! I couldn't be without a car for 2 or more days, so I was told to drive the car until they had a loaner available but if the car started acting up I would need to bring it in immediately :/ A day after I left the from the service visit, the car started bucking and wouldn't accelerate. I immediately called my sales person, Scott McDaniel, told him the situation and he said "I told you I would take care of you, let me see what I can do." Well, needless to say Scott McDaniel went above and beyond and found me a loaner immediately so that I could bring my brand new car in to be fixed. I just want to say, "Thank you, Scott McDaniel, for treating me like a valued customer and not just another car buyer!" More

Wes, however was such a pleasant salesman , I felt very comfortable with him. While buying a new car is not the most pleasant of experiences, Wes made it a better experience . Leasing made easy I knew I wanted a specific slk250. I immediately told Wes to give me his best deal as I had a couple of other dealers competing. I asked for some modifications and he agreed. Since this was an out of town deal, he offered to bring the car to my city that day with the paperwork. He showed up that afternoon (with his poor wife and two year old following in their personal car). He then spent an additional 2 hours going through every detail of our new Mercedes making sure we understood everything. So at the end of the day, I got the deal I wanted, the car hand delivered, and no buyers remorse ( which is almost always the case). No brainer to deal with Wes and mercedes Baton Rouge again More

The scheduler was cordial and worked with me to get an appt available with my schedule. I arrived at the dealership/service center area and was greeted promptly by a smiling face. I was escorted into my service advisor's office and we discussed the work needed on my car......Marjorie was exceptional and answered all of my questions and helped me understand everything. My car was serviced promptly. The mechanic (Daniel) that worked on my vehicle made sure everything was to perfection. I can honestly say that I am truly blessed to have found this dealership and service center. Mercedes Benz of Baton Rouge will be the only place that I do business with because of the quality of employees, quality of workmanship/service, and because they make me feel at ease about all of my Mercedes needs. Your "Forever" Brand and Dealership I can't possibly write this review without first stating what led me to Mercedes-Benz of Baton Rouge. My career requires a vast amount of travel (som I can't possibly write this review without first stating what led me to Mercedes-Benz of Baton Rouge. My career requires a vast amount of travel (sometimes in excess of 30,000 miles/year). For the last decade I have averaged a new car purchase every two years. I always "upgraded" to a vehicle that would meet my ever-changing family and career needs. In the pursuit to fulfill those needs, I ended up owning 5 different makes/models. It always seemed that one brand would meet my "sporty" need while another focused heavily on their vehicles being "energy-efficient"... Then there was a brand for "advanced technology", one for "safety", and one for "outstanding warranties", My most recent purchase was last year - a new Cadillac SRX. It met MOST of my higher-priority needs but not ALL of them. When I purchased this car, I needed safety more than anything. I was sold on the solid frame, extra airbags, and collision detection. In my personal opinion, while my Cadillac lacked fuel efficiency, was over-loaded with somewhat useless technology, had more recalls than I knew what to do with, and was in the shop more than my garage, it was SAFE. So safe, in fact, that it actually saved my life. One morning last month I missed a small turn on a familiar road and plunged into a 20-foot-wide and 8-foot-deep ditch. I don't remember a thing. The impact was so bad that emergency personnel could only get me out through my panoramic sunroof. I had some serious injuries but I still had my life..... Fast forward to three weeks after the accident when it was concluded that I had a total loss and would need to find something else ASAP. That was TOUGH. My vehicle was gone and so was my confidence in replacing it. I spent two days visiting EVERY SINGLE dealership from New Orleans to Baton Rouge. I practically test drove everything! Nothing met my needs... Nothing felt safe... In fact, most of the sales associates paid ZERO attention to why I was purchasing a car to begin with. I'm sure you have all been through this before. As day 2 of my relentless search came to a close, I began to accept that everything I looked at was subpar and I would never find something I was confident enough to drive. My final stop was at Mercedes-Benz of Baton Rouge. I had only 2 thoughts as I was pulling up - 1) I don't know a THING about Mercedes-Benz but 2) I had loads of clients, family members, and friends who highly recommended this dealership. I was welcomed by Wes, who represented my friend a few months ago with his Mercedes-Benz purchase. Wes was everything my friend said he would be. He was witty, personable and attentive. And that was just in the first few moments of our initial encounter. We spent hours prioritizing my wants from my needs. I was beginning to paint a much greater picture of what the Mercedes-Benz brand truly represents. Simultaneously, it became more and more evident that Wes REALLY paid attention, was showing me ONLY things that met MY needs, and had a great sense of pride in the product he represented. Honestly, for the first time in my life I was ELATED to be wrong... there WAS such a brand that would meet (and quite honestly, exceed) every single one of my needs. ACTIONS speak louder than words. When push came to shove, the remarkable employees and owners of this dealership didn't just "talk the talk", they REDEFINED the walk! And just in case you need any confirmation of how the dealership will treat you; imagine how long it took YOU to read this "short" review. Wes got the MUCH longer and way more detailed version and was absolutely unwavering in his commitment to put MY needs first. Purchasing a Mercedes-Benz is a choice. Purchasing it from THIS dealership should be non-negotiable. If you want someone to sell you something you don't need, don't come here. But if you're like me and are seeking a "forever brand", excellent service after the sale, and an extraordinary experience, DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME going anywhere else.
