Worst service department and customer service. Had an 8 am appointment to have scratches buffed out of the tire rim (fortunately, I bought the tire/rim warranty). I was told on my arrival that because it has AMG wheels, they may need to keep the car for several days. RIDICULOUS. When I told Jarred that I could not be without the car for several days, he said that if they couldn't complete the job now, I could reschedule when they could provide me with a loaner. He said he didn't think they had any available today, but would check. I proceeded to wait in the COLD waiting room for two hours - at which point I sent him a text asking for the status of my car (I assumed that I was " good to go soon since I hadn't heard from him in two hours.). At that point, he replied that he had gotten approval from Mercedes to complete the repair (valid warranty) and that the guy was "finishing up a repair from last night" and that he would check with him to see when he would complete my car! I couldn't believe that for an 8 am appointment - at 10:15 am, my rim repair hadn't even been started! Had I not initiated the original text inquiring as to the status of my car, I'd still be sitting in the COLD waiting room. When I went out to see him face to face, the service manager intervened, told me they don't give loaners, and argued with me regarding the process that had been ongoing for more than two hours. At that point, they got me a Lyft and I am at home - now 1:30 - and STILL no word about the car - now 5. 1/2 hours after my 8:00 am appointment. On the few occasions I have had to bring my car to Cherry Hill Mercedes for service, they continue to disappoint me (and by their overall ratings, many others as well). In short, the service department is poorly run and their customer service is THE WORST. Sadly, there are no other local alternatives. Next time, I'll drive it to Mercedes of Devon, or have them come and pick it up, drop off a loaner, and return later with my car as they have done in the past. If there was an option for no stars, that's what they would get. So consider one star NONE! More

I was looking to purchase a pre-owned Mercedes and I wanted a Pre-Purchase Inspection (PPI) done. Since, Mercedes of Cherry Hill, New Jersey had such high reviews on Google (4.2 out of 5 with 1,042 reviews at the time) I thought this dealership was a great choice. An appointment to do the PPI was scheduled on October 13, 2022. I also provided a detailed list of items of concern to the Service Department Manager who has 20 years of experience on the job. He assured me that he would add this list to the PPI. I received the PPI by email and all checked out (green/good) with no major concerns mentioned on the PPI or on my personal request check list. My name was not put on the PPI even though I requested it and paid for it by credit card. However, the PPI invoice says it was paid in cash and instead of my name being on it, the Sellers name was put on the PPI. Why? I found out later that the Seller was a Technician/Mechanic for the PPI Dealer. Please note: The Seller nor Mercedes of Cherry Hill, NJ disclosed this to me as it would have obviously raised concerns about conflicts of interest. So, two days later I purchased the vehicle on Saturday, October 15, 2022 based on the good PPI report received from the Mercedes of Cherry Hills, NJ. Dealership. On Tuesday, October 18, 2022, I took the Mercedes to have the NYS Annual inspection done (a legal requirement of NY state). It FAILED miserably!!!! When I asked why, the foreign repair shop that specializes in Mercedes explained and showed me pictures of the various and many problems. I then, requested that they do a Post-Purchase Inspection because I was now very concerned about the complete safety and reliability of the Mercedes. Upon receiving their report & pictures, I was shocked to see the very long list of failing, failed or damaged parts that needed to be replaced many needed immediate attention. MANY of the SAME items that Mercedes of Cherry Hill claimed to have inspected and passed 'GREEN' had failed, were failing or obviously damaged. That was completely contrary to the "PPI" received from them. Would I use Cherry Hill for a PPI? A resounding "NO". Their PPI was neither accurate, truthful nor factual. The definition of Fraud is: "Fraud involves the false representation of facts, whether by intentionally withholding important information or providing false statements to another party". After sending many emails to responsible people at the dealership which included the owner Mr Hartung, I received only one response from Mr Goulian. He is the General Manager of the dealership. However, even after talking to him, no explanation was offered nor any attempt to resolve this problem.y More

I had just purchased a low mileage Mercedes Benz out of Florida and was driving it home to CT when the "please correct tire pressure" message came up. I thought it was a fluke as my car had fairly new Mic Florida and was driving it home to CT when the "please correct tire pressure" message came up. I thought it was a fluke as my car had fairly new Michelin tires on it. I decided to go to the nearest Mercedes dealer to have it checked out. It was late Tuesday afternoon on 6/28/2022. I did not have an appointment and I had never bought a car from Mercedes Benz of Cherry Hill, and I don't live in their state. They immediately took my car in and a great blonde haired lady (Veronica) quickly and efficiently helped me out and verified that they had my exact tire in stock should it need to be replaced. Veronica and a tech quickly found that there was a screw in the shoulder of my right rear tire. She then set me up with Andre in service who took all of my information quickly and helped me with my paperwork verifying that it would be covered under warranty. The tech (didn't get his name) was right there and quickly took my GL and got to work on it right away. He was great. About and hour or so later Andre came and found me in your customer service lounge and fully explained everything that they did and that it was covered under my warranty. After signing off on it Andre and your staff had me back on the road headed for home. They even washed my vehicle and had it looking shiny new. I cannot say enough about how beyond impressed I was with their accomodating me and their kindness and speed of service. They are definitely a well oiled machine and represent the brand and more importnatly your dealership and your ownerships philosophy and values well. Everything they did was much appreciated. The next time I am looking for a Mercedes Benz I will definitely have Mercedes Benz of Cherry Hill on my list to check first. More
