Apr 19, 2021, Trusting that I was doing business with Mercedes-Benz. I had asked salesman to complete a checklist of my concerns since I am from different city. He denied car had any visible leaks or mechanical issues. Car had lots of obvious issues the first day after it arrived & I drove it on April 23, On April 27, 2021, I took car to local Acura dealer service department to assess the car, ends up the MDX had leaking power steering unit, needs replacement, leaking transmission with Gear Ratio issues, leaking front and rear struts, alternator had very loud whining noise, all needed to be replaced at once. I reported this to Fernando, after a lot of run around from Brett Jordan, the dodging, sarcastic Sales Mgr and I never heard back from a supposed "Jerry Foyt, GM". After I demanded my money and for them to at least help me pay for the transport cost to return MDX to Houston, they offered to refund only purchase price in full, refused to help me with cost of transporting to and from. I am out over $1250 and the cost to replace the hood lift supports because the ones it came with were totally shot, I feel Mercedes-Benz of Clear Lake's "130 Point Inspection" is BS and worst of all is that they never even offered an apology, It is now May 28, 2021 and still waiting on my refund, I'm obviously very angry & will try to get some reimbursement through legal arbitration. Based on old reviews listed here, I bet these bad apples are new and are running this dealership with absolute disregard for any ethics, let alone decency.
