Summary: it was very weird! ! 1) I had researched and was familiar with this car's "advertised" specs well before ever going to the dealer. It would have fit my needs admirably. ! 1) I had researched and was familiar with this car's "advertised" specs well before ever going to the dealer. It would have fit my needs admirably. 2) I went to the dealer for a test drive and to ask some questions. 3) I was told there was only one dealer in the area that could service the vehicle. 4) I live within the advertised range, albeit close to the maximum; BUT, between the dealer and my home, the road is all uphill . . . so the "advertised" range may or may not be a useful number. 5) Before the purchase could be considered rational, I needed to establish that the car could indeed get to and from a service department. 6) The only solution my Winnie-the-Poo sized brain could conger, was a test drive; a round trip of ~150 miles. 7) Recognizing that such a solution was quite possibly outside the dealer's Standard Operating Procedure, I offered to (a) leave a deposit of whatever size they needed, (b) rent the car at whatever rate they thought reasonable, (c) I even offered to buy the car for cash--PROVIDED they had some type of return policy in case it didn't live up to expectations. 8) The dealer would accept none of my suggestions, and they had none of their own! 10) Summary: The purchase hinged on whether not not I could get the vehicle serviced, a requirement the dealer was not willing to guarantee/demonstrate. As an aside, in a former life, I taught marketing at a couple of different universities. In the "sales" subset of "marketing" there was a mantra; "Identify what the customer wants, and find a way to give it to him/her." Were I to give this dealer a grade, it would be an "F". More

My husband and I went in looking at a used 2019 SUV we saw online and needed a lot of assistance. Ed , from the Gilbert location, offered to help us, and wow, what an incredibly knowledgeable, patient, a saw online and needed a lot of assistance. Ed was so gracious - he gave us several options, spent time test driving various models with us, showed us all the feature/benefits of each car, and made us feel extremely comfortable with our choice. I needed some warranty work completed on my Grech RV built on a Mercedes Sprinter van. I would especially like to thank Service Advisor Kris Mason for his tenacity with this matter and always keeping me aprised of progress. The customer waiting area at the dealership is first rate and everyone at the dealership I spoke with during my visit was very friendly and happily provided whatever assistance I required. Garrett was great to work with! Not pushy, but kept options in front of us. The perfect blend! He was respectful and attentive from start to finish. The "hostess" seated in the middle of show room was attentive as well, greeting us each time we came in and offering us water and help. The finance guy, however, was a piece of work, and very hard to work with and thought it was funny to give us a hard time, even though we were in a time crunch. His interaction pushed us to consider walking away from the deal. We love the car we bought, however, the interaction with the finance department soured our experience. More
