Went into the dealership to test drive and price some pre-owned C300s. Was greeted by Bassem at the door, who immediately seemed friendly and very willing to help out. We discussed a couple C300s on the lot, and he went over the options on each and pricing. I decided to test drive an 09 4matic. Test drive felt great and I started to consider purchasing the car that day if the pricing was right. Sat down with Bassem to negotiate and we reached an agreeable price. Overall, the service I experienced was excellent. Bassem made sure to go over every detail of the car, and went out of his way to set up bluetooth and some other features with me, even after he was off his shift for the night. Everyone at this dealership is professional, curtious, and genuinely willing to do whatever they can to accomodate their clients. I would like to share my car buying experience at Park Place Mercedes Benz at Grapevine. I am a previous Park Place MB Dallas customer and in the market for MB E350 Sedan. I called Park Place MB Gra Place Mercedes Benz at Grapevine. I am a previous Park Place MB Dallas customer and in the market for MB E350 Sedan. I called Park Place MB Grapevine on 8/27/2011 and arranged a meeting with Jeff Smith (Sales) to find my next MB E350. I told Jeff that I am interested in 2012 E350 Sedan with a new engine (302 HP) and would like to negotiate the price and order one. According to Jeff and Andrei (Sales Manager), 2012 E350 with the new engine will NOT be available until March of 2013. The first shipment in September and October of this year will NOT have a new engine. They told me that it is mid-year model change and the first shipment of 2012 E350 sedan will have the same old engine (268 HP). I asked them multiple times and they were certain and told me the exact same thing. I even mentioned that you could order 2012 E350 through the MB Dealer system and it should tell you the engine size. They told me that it is same engine and recommended 2011 E350 model since I have to wait 6 to 7 months. I could not just settle for 2011 model so I decided not to order one. After I got back home, I checked around other dealers and googled various forums. In fact, 2012 E350 comes with a new engine and they will be available sometime in September or October. People are currently placing orders with a new engine changes. Even though I was interested in ordering 2012 model with a new engine, why would Jeff and Andrei keep insisting that 2012 E350 with new engine will not be available until March of 2012? If they did not have the specific information on the new model, they could have said that they don't know instead of giving me wrong information. They must knew what was going on and just try to sell older model regardless of my interests on the new model. I felt so manipulated. I know Park Place MB is in the business to sell cars and make profits, but telling customers with the wrong information to sell older model is not the way to satisfy customers and make a repeat customer. I even send an email and left a phone message the other day to confirm that their information was wrong and no response from Jeff or Andrei yet. I hope this is isolated incident and other customers are not treated this way. I ordered 2012 E350 sedan with a new engine from other MB dealer and it will be delivered mid October not March 2013. This was a bad experience with Park Place MB Grapevine and customers should not be treated this way. More
My wife and I received a direct mail advertisement on your used vehicles. We decided to take a look and Mani showed us everything on the lot that fit our description. Since we were just shopping, we did your used vehicles. We decided to take a look and Mani showed us everything on the lot that fit our description. Since we were just shopping, we did not purchase until a couple of weeks later. During that time, we were not hassled by anyone at the dealership. They allowed us to go through our process and make our decision. We called Mani back and he again showed us the inventory. Once we found a fit, we made a deal in literally ten minutes. The big surprise happened after we made the deal. As Mani showed us around the dealership, we were amazed at the service area and the way Park Place created such a great environment for their customers. The financial department had us in and out in less than an hour and did not try to oversell any product. Once our business was completed, Mani spent another hour with my wife going over the car and setting up her blue tooth system. The whole experience exceeded all of our expectations. Unfortunately, we were not happy with our experience at a local BMW dealership so we decided to look at C300 Mercedes. Bassem Masri helped my husband and I pick out a C350. He was very knowledgeable about the specific features of the C300 and C350. He helped me convince my husband that the bigger engine and builtin navigation system in the C350 made it the better choice for us. Mike McAllister helped us with the financing and we happily took advantage of the 1.99% loan. Mike explained the details of the prepaid maintaince agreement Bassem had mentioned to us. We choose to buy both the prepaid maintaince agreement and the extended warranty. Our whole buying experience with Park Place Mercedes in Grapevine was positive.
