Disappointing experience Very disappointed I had the worst experience at purchasing a used vehicle. I was excited to surprise my husband with a used truck for our Ranch. My husband and I had seen it about a little over a week ago. Since it was still there this past weekend I called Trevor Mills to tell him I would be in Monday to purchase it. I left a message, which he never returned. Called him back again, he said he hadn't check his messages I told him what I wanted to do and what I would be trading in, then texted him the info and asked him to get back to me with a ballpark figure...which he never did. He did tell me on the phone he would be on vacation but would have someone else help me, which he never sent me the name. After telling my husband about the surprise last night because of my disappoint of Trevor not getting back with me I went today with my trade asked for the Used Car Sales Manager, then the General Manager (because I was mad at the way the salesman had ignored my messages and I felt I had been treated) but both were too busy! The receptionist put me with the internet manage, Parrish, who was nice but proceeded to tell me the truck was not there because was being fixed due to hail damage. I told him this was for our Farm and that was ok.....then we sat down to discuss pricing he gave me a figure $1000 lower than what I had been offered on Saturday for my trade in and would not come off the price of the truck even though it was being fixed from hail damage. They did not care about our business, even if it was for a used Ranch truck. I have had my sister's grandson, a Cowboy player purchase a vehicle and said the service was great here but I guess because I didn't have a title behind my name and it was the 1st day of the month not the last day of the month. I have lived in this community for 37 years and traded with most the dealerships in this area, in fact our daughter worked at Classic Hummer years ago and our son recently purchase a new Lexus next door. I would NOT recommend this dealership to anyone looking to purchase a new or used vehicle. I am a Professional Sales Person myself and have been my whole adult life so I respect good Sales People as a Profession. I felt dirty when I left there because I felt like they were your typical car sales people that didn't care about or value me as a buyer just wanted to get the sale. In fact when I first met Trevor out on the lot a little over a week ago he said he read a book that said sales people shouldn't wear sunglasses...people won't trust them. Well my friend it takes a lot more than not wearing sunglasses to be a good Sales Person. Respond to voice mails and text messages, even if you are going on vacation. Sales is about Respect, Trust, and is a 24-7 job not just 8-5. I have been a Top Salesperson and continue to be because I listen to my customers and try to HELP them not sell them. It is not about the Sale it is about having a Customer for Life. And Parrish I think if I had a customer with a bad experience I would at least try to work a deal with them especially if they were trying to purchase a damaged item. I drive a company car, my husband drives a Nissan Armada and we were adding a truck to our vehicle family but not today and NOT for sure from Park Place Motors Mercedes Benz. I will be purchasing a used Ranch truck for our farm but it will not be from them!!! More
Rip off We have an 2018 AMG C63 with 2,600 miles. We took the car in for a nail in the tire that was under warranty repair. The service tech said we needed We have an 2018 AMG C63 with 2,600 miles. This dealer is not where we bought the car from, (Plano Benz) and I felt like I was getting the sales pitch because they weren’t making money on a warranty item...How on earth could we need a front end alignment when the car is hardly ever driven and has never bumped anything. Sure enough, get the car back and nothing wrong with the wear on the front tires!!I knew it sounded stupid to begin with, 2,600 miles, really? brand new car! way to go Mercedes grapevine great integrity! Service Light on ML 350 Service light came on my ML350 and I took it to an independent shop. They diagnosed the problem in 15 minutes and mentioned that since it was only pr Service light came on my ML350 and I took it to an independent shop. They diagnosed the problem in 15 minutes and mentioned that since it was only produced just one time just clearing the error would most likely be sufficient (for now), but if thrown again then replacing the emission sensor for $500 to $600 could be done. They, also mentioned that it might be worth checking (with Mercedes) as it might be covered under warranty or recall, as it was a faulty emission error. I stopped by Grapevine Mercedes with the error codes, in hand, and they wanted $190 just to diagnose it. I agreed and sure enough they produced the same finding, but wanted $1,100 to correct the false error code and stated it needed to be done. All of that I guess is fine, but the process took them 3.5 hours. Honestly, I didn't feel my Service Adviser did any advising or analysis. My recommendation is to steer clear of their service department once you're car is outside of the warranty; find a good independent shop and save yourself time and $$$. I'm currently starting a search for a new luxury car for my wife, but probably will eliminate Park Place and Mercedes from the equation based on their LACK of SERVICE. Just really disappointed in the experience, but I knew better...here's to hoping. More

Everyone from the moment greeted at arrival to our working with our assigned service manager Stanley Ellison....has been a great experience. Having a great courtesy loaner car allows us continued freedom while the car is being serviced. It also allows us an opportunity to drive other models to see what options we may consider in future purchases. We always know the car is getting the best treatment from qualified mechanics who know Mercedes best. Happy customers for life. More
