Tom, our sales person is very efficient,responsive, straightforward, no gimmicks other that paying over sticker price. I understand that in current automobile market it's a common practice, but Mercedes take it to a all new level and excessive compare to other brands.
I have been a loyal Mercedes customers for 15 years (although first time I am being from Mercedes-Benz of Huntington). Unfortunately, loyalty does not mean anything and it 's a little disappointing from such a brand. With that said, our Sales persons really did everything in this power to give us a better deal.
Also, when we saw the car in the showroom the car had all-weather heavy duty floor mats and it was pointed out to us as great benefit for the winter month and that the carpet floor mats were also provided. They were actually in the trunk, still int their factory packaging.
It is not only after couple of days I picked up the car that I realized that the floor mats were switched. The car has now the carpet mats but no all-weather mats . I notified the dealer, our sales person got back to us very quickly and told us that they were not included and send us a copy of the factory list of items that were included the vehicle. I find it very misleading that they would display the vehicle with something that is not included in the price, specially that all along the vehicle in the showroom is the actual one I was looking to buy and bought. If that the case it should clearly say "All-Weather Mats are only for display purpose " and available as an additional option. It is not a big deal, just disappointing.
