Stephen McCloskey -Provides Best New Car Sales Experience We just purchased our fourth new Mercedes in ten years, and our first from Stephen "Big Steve" McCloskey. We simply can't say enough positive things We just purchased our fourth new Mercedes in ten years, and our first from Stephen "Big Steve" McCloskey. We simply can't say enough positive things about Big Steve. We told him exactly what we were looking for and he found us exactly what we wanted versus showing us a litany of lot cars that were not what we wanted. There is nothing worse than asking for a particular vehicle, model and trim package and being shown a completely different vehicle, model or trim package that doesn't have the size, seating, engine or other options you want (i.e. a lesser vehicle that doesn't suit your needs or a much more expensive vehicle that you can't afford). (This actually happened to us the day before at another dealership.) On the test drive, he knew how to work the new Mercedes technology and demoed it for us so we could see it in action. He explained to us the differences between the 2020 and our current version of the same vehicle. He also gave us real options by showing us (i) a 2019 and the 2020 version of the vehicle, explaining the differences (ride, technology, price, etc) and (ii) a few different additional option packages that were within our budget and exactly what we would get for the additional money. Which leads to another point, Big Steve knows the vehicles, the options and the pricing. During the negotiation process, we gave him our bottom line on the exact vehicle we wanted and he delivered without aggravating us.. He also understood that my spouse was the customer and not me and that it was his job to sell to her and not to me. He was also courteous, polite and respectful without any high pressure sales tactics. Big Steve worked well with Jon Saint-Louis (the finance manager) who made financing the vehicle simple, non-intrusive and stress free. Simply put, we will be seeing Big Steve this summer when we purchase our fifth Mercedes. More
