Service Required. so i called Northlake to speak with a service advisor about my situation. after explaining to the advisor about the anti theft situation, he told me that i needed to purchase a new radio from them, because the used radio would not work, because it had to have the same serial number as my car in order for it to work. i call parts dept to price a new radio, then he gave me a Quote of 5000.00 for a radio, also told me that no other radio would work for my car. so i called Independent Mercedes Benz and explain to them what was going on with my radio in my car. made me appointment and they reprogrammed my radio and removed the anti theft code. that radio i bought online for my car is working fine, thanks to Mercedes on independent. its sad how a dealership can tell you ,That its impossible for you to use a aftermarket radio work in your car which Wasnt true to get you to purchased a 5000 dollar radio. I went to purchase a car at Northlake Mercedes Benz in Charlotte, NC two weeks ago. I was treated differently than other customers. I am a Disabled Female, a Senior Citizen and I am Black. I was discrimi Charlotte, NC two weeks ago. I was treated differently than other customers. I am a Disabled Female, a Senior Citizen and I am Black. I was discriminated against. I presented an Autocheck from State Employees Credit Union of 60,000 and I had a 10,000 cashiers check of my personal funds. I saved 20 years to buy a Mercedes Benz. The salesman told me, in order to purchase the car, my bank must type the VIN# of the vehicle on the Autocheck, due to recent fraudulent activity the Dealership experienced. I immediately contacted my bank. The bank officer and Branch Manager told me typing the VIN # on the check was NEVER a requirement. The bank officer spoke directly to the salesman, shared this with the salesman, verified the funds, and explained to the salesman he could write the VIN # on the check. After several times of going back and forth from my bank to the Dealership, the salesman agreed to accept my check. However, I was told I would have to leave the car I just purchased at the Dealership for two weeks, before picking it up. I called the Hendricks Executive Offices. Dan, the Manager of Northlake Mercedes told me he directed personnel to select customers for additional scrutiny. He admitted no written policy exist requiring banks to write the VIN# on the check. No written criteria on which his sales personnel select customers exist either. I was the victim of unjust treatment at his Dealership. I was humiliated and upset. This was the textbook definition of discrimination. Unless there exist a written policy at the Dealership requiring additional scrutiny of ALL customers, it is Blantant Discrimination. The US Constitutional Amendment prohibits discriminating practices against (AGE, DISABLED, GENDER, RACE). Selecting individuals based upon personal biases to be treated differently is againt the Law! I still have not heard back from the Dealership. Don't buy at Northlake Mercedes Benz in Charlotte, NC. More

During my visit, I encountered an issue with my husband’s vehicle. As we were out of town, I sought assistance at this location, which is not my usual choice for service. Regrettably, my interaction with the vehicle. As we were out of town, I sought assistance at this location, which is not my usual choice for service. Regrettably, my interaction with the service manager, Mr. Crump, was less than satisfactory. His demeanor was quite unpleasant, and I felt uncomfortable due to his inappropriate comments about my appearance, specifically regarding my shirt. When I mentioned that I was married, his response—“he’s one lucky man”—was not only unprofessional but made me feel out of place. I came to your establishment with the expectation of receiving quality service for my vehicle, not to face discomfort or unsolicited remarks. I believe that customer service should prioritize respect and professionalism, and I hope you can address this matter to ensure a more positive experience for future customers. More
