I ran into a gentleman named Mike Bilicki and he took his time to show me what he had on the lot. He did not just put his foot on the bumper and ask me what I want to buy the car for like they did in the olden days. I didn't want to take a test drive and he did not push to get me to get into the car. I will probably not purchase for the next few months but wanted to make sure Mike was aware of his respectful sales approach and when time comes to purchase I will call him first to see what he has. I can go on about the purchase experience... how surprised I was to find myself (for a change) in a car dealership feeling happy and human... but that can be personal to me so I'll stick with the Facts: When I called and asked for Tony Ortega I was told that he's with a customer and that within 20 minutes I'll either get a call back from him or from another MB professional. Sure enough within a few minutes Tony calls back, finds me the "exact" package I've been searching for and at a price that worked for me after my trade in.... I was still a bit worried because the other 3 dealerships in my area also gave me great prices over the phone but when I got there it somehow became $3,000 to $6,000 more! Not with Tony, when he showed me the total price on paper I was surprised! No gimmicks! No "oh, that car just sold but we have".... he actually honored his word and even agreed to give me a bit more for my trade in! (He said he'll agree to that because I was sitting across him with my 4 month old daughter and she was too cute to resist... :-) ) I also want to acknowledge the rest of the team and the welcoming reception people. As an experienced MB owner I know my products and can be quite demanding and not an easy fellow to please but I always come away happy from MB Plano. I live 130 miles away but it is now a pleasure to make the trip in this beautiful, new CLS550. I wanted this car because it has retained its individuality over the years and still is one of the most striking cars on the road. It could also be the last of a great line with that powerhouse twin turbo V8, as many models are going to six and even four cylinder motors. I have my sales rep, Steve Gleason, and the sales manager, Jeff Gaden, to thank for putting me in the car. They handled every concern and question I had promptly and in the proper way. I recommend them to the members of my club, MBCA N.Texas Section, the largest MB club in America - such a recommendation says it all right there! More
