Ash is a patient salesperson, he worked with me to swap from a problematic 2012 GL450 to a new 2013 GL450 at a good deal. My 2012 GL450 had many problems and Mercedes Customer Service is not helpful at all from a problematic 2012 GL450 to a new 2013 GL450 at a good deal. MB Plano's general manager Kim Patterson, my salesperson Ash and Service department staff have helped me a lot to get the new car at a good deal and try to fix the old car. I had a great experience at MB Plano. From the initial visit, where we met Ash, all the way through the Finance process to turning the new vehicle over to us with Heidi, it was a pleasure. It's been 15 years since we've been to a dealership, and the experience was great. Steve Leason was the main reason why. We were very skeptical at first because we do not make a lot of money and thought we were going to be treated as such. But it was a great experience because of Steve. He gave us his attention and worked with us in landing a vehicle that i've always wanted to drive. He was very knowledgeable, honest and personable -- which was a surprise to both my husband and I. Was charged 900 Dollars for a reconditioned alternator. I'd like to know what makes a Mercedes Alternator different than any other alternator to make it cost 4 - 5 times as much as a normal Bosch unit. The techs had left one of the fuel pump sensor cables unplugged so I had no fueld gauge readings. They broke on of the CD's I had left in my glove compartment. I found it on the floor, broken in half. The only positive experience was with the hire-car department. They were pleasant, helpful and genuinely responsive. I have heard of how stores like this might treat you IF they do not think you are able to afford their cars. I never believed it would happen to me. Around 5pm on Tuesday, Sept 25, 2012 - my friend and I they do not think you are able to afford their cars. I never believed it would happen to me. Around 5pm on Tuesday, Sept 25, 2012 - my friend and I walked into the Mercedes-Benz of Plano, located at 4464 West Plano Pkwy Plano, TX 75093; and immediately we realized how that could be true. There were four of us at the door (three women & a man). The man was courteous enough to hold the door for all three of us to go in first. Right after that, the receptionist smiled at the couple and practically ignored my friend and myself. She was so interested in attending to the couple while she ignored us. I politely waited for the couple to complete their transaction with her, she called a sales person to attend to them and they walked away. Meanwhile, we were waiting by the sides for her to finish. Realizing she was not calling us, I gently walked over to the receptionist and directly asked for assistance. She softly requested if we needed new or used car assistance. I responded that, we would like Pre-owned cars. She beckoned us to wait. We waited for around 5-7minutes before I walked over to her AGAIN; and asked if anybody is coming to assist us. During which almost 4-5 sales representatives walked passed us; with (NONE OF THEM HAVING THE COURTESEY OF SAYING HELLO); speak-less of asking if they can help us. My friend suggested that we should walk to the lot and start looking at the cars; we did that for another 5-10 minutes; yet, NOBODY came to assist us. Finally after almost 15-20 minutes in the stores WITHOUT assistance, we walked pass the same receptionist – on our way out of the store; then a man walked towards us and asked "Are you leaving because you no longer want to speak to anybody?" - I then informed him that we were there for almost 20 minutes without anybody acknowledging us. He just turned around and walked away. He did not have the decency to even apologize. Unfortunately and sadly for them, the couple did NOT purchase anything; meanwhile, we (the looked over) came into the store with our check ready to purchase a Mercedes Benz. The whole visit reminded me of Julia Roberts "Pretty Woman". The only difference was that we are no hookers. I am a professional IT Analyst and a graduate student @ UTD; and my friend a registered nurse. Our visit to the Mercedes-Benz of Plano, located at 4464 West Plano Pkwy Plano, TX 75093 so humiliating, it was unbelievable. It is sad that such treatment still exist in our neighborhood. More
I had always wanted to get a Porsche. I went to the Porsche dealership and they had great service but when I came to Mercedes Benz of Plano and met Sterling Eubanks, I was certain that a Mercedes Benz Porsche dealership and they had great service but when I came to Mercedes Benz of Plano and met Sterling Eubanks, I was certain that a Mercedes Benz was the car for me. Sterling provided such amazing service to me from the moment I met him, that I knew this was it. I purchased an E550 coupe and I could not have been happier with the car. I think I may stay with Benz in the future as well. Anything I needed, Sterling provided it right away- no questions asked. Truly top-class service here. Sterling thank you so much. He was careful to go through all of the paperwork and manuals so I knew where to find more information after the sale as well. He genuinely cared about me as a person; not just as a sale. He understood my budget and did not try to press me into a vehicle I could not afford, but guided me through the cars that would meet my needs. He was by far the most knowledgable, friendliest and nicest sales associate I've dealt with in my many car purchases (BMWs, Lincolns and a Nissan). More
