“Mercedes-Benz Certified Used Vehicle” is a well marketed claim, however my experience at Mercedes-Benz of Rocklin crushed this marketing claim. Having to return and argue to get bald tires replaced, mismat claim, however my experience at Mercedes-Benz of Rocklin crushed this marketing claim. Having to return and argue to get bald tires replaced, mismatched paint corrected, and brakes needing replacement after adding only 18,000 miles a year later, costing over $1,900, is not my idea of a well vetted, prestigiously re-conditioned used vehicle sold at a premium price. Having been influenced by the TV commercials on what a “certified used“ vehicle from Mercedes-Benz stands for, I feel taken by the dealership that maximized there profit margin and offloaded bald tires and other costly parts related to safety on their buyer claiming everything was within the factory established standards. The federal trade commission should evaluate the claims being made about what ‘Mercedes-Benz Certified Used Vehicle’ actually stands for. More
