If you buy a Mercedes you expect good service I recently needed a new car key made and proceeded to the Rocklin Mercedes dealership. I went in and was directed to an employee at parts and service I recently needed a new car key made and proceeded to the Rocklin Mercedes dealership. I went in and was directed to an employee at parts and service. The employee behind the counter said that he had just closed at 6pm. Looking at my clock it was now 6:03 pm. The quoted hours of operation told me they closed at 8pm. I was confused and told him the hours had stated otherwise. I told him I just needed a key and he informed me that he had just logged out of his computer (which we all know only needs a password) and that I would have to come back tomorrow. This was on 6-28-17 a Wednesday. So on top of having to borrow another car get the dealership I now had to wait another day. Fast forward to the next day I go to the Sacramento location where they were helpful and proceeded to tell me that the key would take 2 business days and that I wouldn't get the new key until Monday. So, instead of waiting the original 2 days, I now had to wait until the following Monday with No access to my own car. While doing the process to get a new key at the Sacramento location it took the gentleman all of 3 minutes to help me. All the guy at the Rocklin store had to do was help me for 3 more minutes and I would have been so grateful. The kicker was I was intending to purchase a new car that day but if they can't help me on even the simplest task why would I potentially give them my business. Very disappointed, granted it was 3 minutes past and I understand that but a little help and understanding would have been appreciated greatly. More
