I was given a loaner car as they couldn't get my car back to me before the weekend. This was for a 50,000 mi check. The receptionist said just to put in some gas in it when I brought it back to about wher to me before the weekend. This was for a 50,000 mi check. That was all. The tank was not full when they gave it to me. The next month I see a $9 charge on my credit card. Called to see what it was for and no one could help me. Said I'd have to wait until my assigned person got back after surgery! The amount wasn't the issue so much as no one to address this issue when I brought the car back, not getting charged for it along with my other charges for the work done, and no one being able to address the issue until weeks later! The assigned person finally called and said I was to receive a rebate for the amount, as they charged me for gas. I reiterated that the car wasn't even full when I got it. He said it was the cost for driving 18 mi. Gas prices are high, but not that high, especially a month ago. I felt like I was being "nickled and dimed" after paying a +$700 bill. They really need to address customer service. This sort of thing should never happen in the first place! More
