Mr. Kerl, finance manager remembered my father (who is also a Mercedes owner) and made sure that we were very well taken care of as returning customers. This was probably my best car buying experience. My wife told me to go out and buy a new car. After reading all the reviews, I narrowed my choices to either a BMW X1 or a Mercedes Benz GLK250. I drove both and went to several dealers to make a purchase. Every BMW dealer I went to treated me so unprofessionally. I also was not given fair trade in values on my trades at any of the BMW dealers. Phone calls were never returned from them. Who needs customer support like that? Then I went to Mercedes Benz of Rockville Centre. I test drove the GLK250 and knew that was the car for me and not the BMW. My salesman Maurice Benitez treated me with the utmost level of respect . His complete knowledge of the car was amazing, and he made the buying experience so enjoyable from the beginning of the order to the delivery of the finished product. The delivery was so complete and Maurice made sure I knew and understood each feature of the car before I left the dealer. Wil Jansen is a true gentleman. He worked on the trade ins for me and was more than fair with the prices he quoted. I can see that his aim for the dealer is to please the customer and not just to care about the transaction price. I had been shopping around for the ML 350 for a while and a family friend suggested that I go see her Maurice Benitez who was her sales person and he w had been shopping around for the ML 350 for a while and a family friend suggested that I go see her Maurice Benitez who was her sales person and he would take care of me.At first I was a little apprehensive for two reasons, One is I live in bensonhurst and I have a dealership about three blocks from my house and second I believed that all dealerships basically offered the same deals give or take a few dollars.Maurice sat with me for hours explaining all options that fit my budget all without trying to sell me anything, just trying to show me the pros and cons of purchasing or leasing on a few different cars.I ended up leasing the Ml 350 at a fraction of price other dealerships were offering me.
