You are told the price of the cars up front. They don't try to sell you something that you can't afford; in fact, the finances were worked out before we were even shown a car. Had we left without being able to buy anything, I would still be singing their praises as many dealers will do "anything" to sell a car without any concern to the position they may be putting the buyer in. Merchant Auto is the best dealership I have ever been to! I went into Merchant Auto expecting them to tell me there's nothing they can do for me, because I have bad credit. First off, they didn't laugh me out I went into Merchant Auto expecting them to tell me there's nothing they can do for me, because I have bad credit. First off, they didn't laugh me out the door, they were nice and polite to me, understanding about my financial situation, and at the end of the experience I walked out with a 2011 Nissan Altima. I was completely shocked I could even get a car, but these guys made it happen. On top of that the warranty that we got with the car was past amazing! I will recommend Merchant auto to anyone! More

greedy service department I went to get my cat inspected and was told that my car needed almost 840.00 worth of work. And that I needed an outer tie rod end and a rack and pin. I went to get my cat inspected and was told that my car needed almost 840.00 worth of work. And that I needed an outer tie rod end and a rack and pin. I told the technician that I believe I had the outer tie rod replaced he said no the part looks like it has never been replaced abd that the rack and pin is leaking power sterering fluid. I have them put the car back together because I want a second opinion. A week goes by I keep checking my power steering fluid, still full. Brought my car to Sullivan tire they showed me where my outer tie rod end had been replaced previously and that the rack and pin was not leaking anywhere, they had three technicians look at the car they can't find anything wrong with the car that was on merchant autos service summary. My car was inspected without needing the work that merchants claimed I needed. I paid for the inspection which would have been free through the dealership because I bought the car there but it was much cheaper than what the dealership claimed I needed. I called and spoke to the manager in the service department and was told it was one mechanic opinion to another.as far as I knew state inspection is a standard and not a matter of opinion. More

Well done Merchants! After visiting several dealerships in the Manchester area (and one in Massachusetts) we finally ended up at Merchants in Hooksett. Greeted by Ryan S After visiting several dealerships in the Manchester area (and one in Massachusetts) we finally ended up at Merchants in Hooksett. Greeted by Ryan Spada on our arrival. Here's the best part. We knew what we were looking for an Ryan brought the car right out. All the other dealerships we visited made us go inside, sit down, complete some registration process. Always took 30 minutes at least. I think we were done the entire greet and test drive within 30 minutes at Merchants. I felt they respected my time and I appreciated that. We couldn't settle on a price initially but we were able to work out a fair deal within a day or so. Ryan and Scott Rienhart were very helpful through, what I thought, was a very easy process. After a week with the vehicle I noticed an issue with the windshield. Ryan put me in touch with Terry Murphy in the Service Department. Terry was happy to resolve the issue within a couple of hours and Guy Nichols took good care of me (including a loaner vehicle) while my car was serviced for this repair. I would like to thank Ryan, Scott, Terry, and Guy. You all have made the car buying process very enjoyable and I would not hesitate to recommend your team to anyone looking for a quality pre-owned car in the area. I was not disappointed with my experience. Ryan Spada was generous in the use of his time to accompany me and then my wife on multiple test drives. He patiently and knowledgeably explained the ins and outs of each vehicle and matched the various pros and cons according to our interests. In the end, when we couldn't make up our mind among a number of SUV's in their inventory, Ryan and Merchants purchased a particular SUV that we liked from another dealership for the price we wanted to pay. All in all, it was a great car buying experience and I would recommend Merchants Auto to anyone More
