A friend of mine recently bought a car from Merchants and had an awesome experience, so I decided to give it a shot. I appeared there with my father (for moral support, of course!) on a hot Sunday afternoon. Andre quickly greeted us in the parking lot and asked me a few questions on what I was looking for. We explained to him that I was a first time buyer, looking for a safe, reliable car that would be good in winter driving. He immediately knew of the car for me, and directed us to a used Mazda Tribute. This was the exact idea of what I was looking for. The car was in amazing condition and the price was just right. He took us inside to go over the process and to talk about finance options. We went over everything and decided on the "buy here pay here" option, which is a great program for someone like me who is fairly young and has very minimal credit. Andre was great- I didn't feel like he was judging me or pressuring me into anything. I really felt that he was sincere and was genuinely happy to help me. Even my father, who is a tough critic, was extremely impressed and happy with the whole experience. Andre let me take the car for a long test drive, and before I knew it I was back at the office signing papers and buying my first new-to-me car! I will absolutely be coming back to Merchants and recommend it to anyone looking for a stress free car buying experience. Andre went the extra mile and is an exceptional sales person.
