Always courteous, friendly, and take care of my vehicle as if it were their own. Would never have my vehicle serviced or purchase a vehicle any where else. Highly recommend Metro Ford to anyone. as if it were their own. Would never have my vehicle serviced or purchase a vehicle any where else. Highly recommend Metro Ford to anyone. More

By June 2021 the car was in the shop and it stayed there for 2 months, with issues that ranged from small body shop issues, to larger body shop issues, to minor mechanical repairs to a full blown replacement of one of the most important pieces of equipment on the vehicle ... the basic nerve center that controls all the mechanical, technical, computer works of the vehicle. Needless to say, this car was a lemon and I treated it as such. During the time the car was in the shop, I made payments which amounted to about $1000 and I purchased gas for the loaner I was given. The gas efficiency was not as good as the hybrid vehicle I drive so needless to say I spent double the amount of money on gas in those two months, that I would have, had I been driving my own vehicle. The service department communication was not only non existent, but every time I went in there (which was frequent because I had to keep visiting the car to take more and more things out of the vehicle as it stayed there day after week after month), none of the service area staff bothered to say hello in any manner. I was never told who my service advisor was. I was never given any information about what was being repaired and when I inquired, I was treated like I was a complete burden and was asking for something that was unreasonable. Information about my car should have been forthcoming with professionalism. Instead what I got was grunts and one word answers, as if I was dealing with a room full of people who never heard of communication, customer service or just basic human interaction. When I finally picked up the vehicle, I learned that the car repair made was the replace of the harness of wires that controls everything in the car. When I got the car home, of course there were still two things that were never reconnected and that is how the car remains, with the window controls and lock controls not working properly. At this point, I had already initiated the NYS Attorney General Lemon Law Arbitration process and Ford Inc. is buying back the car. However, when I called and spoke to Mr. Dariano (head of sales) about the outfit and my concerns, I came to understand why the customer service was so terrible. My conversation with Mr. Dariano brought to mind the old adage "a fish stinks from its head" because Mr. Dariano who apparently has his job because he is related to the owner, also didn't understand what customer service was. Rather he was defensive and rude, and said things like "I'm sorry YOU FELT YOU WERE TREATED BADLY." I have taken plenty of customer service trainings and that is one of the first things they tell you NOT TO SAY. But I digress. Because times are so weird and inventory is so low, I am having trouble locating a suitable vehicle. When I reached out to the Metro Ford sales person who I've been working with since 2014 (this was my third Ford Escape) to see if they would make good on the ordeal by selling me a comparable vehicle at a decent price, he did try to work with the sales manager. Sadly, he had to work with Mr. Dariano whose only claim to his job is blood relation, couldn't make the deal...and making the deal would have been an additional $425 less than what they were trying to get from me. Needless to say, tomorrow, I will go to a Honda dealership where the sales people act like human beings, understand customer service protocols, and treat customers with the bare minimum of respect. All I can say, again, is RUN far away from Metro Ford. I've dealt with the entire operation and out of at least a dozen people that I was forced to work with, there were two, who just barely understood how to handle a difficult situation. Great car...terrible dealership. There are numerous ford dealerships in the area. Pick a different one. More
