One More Time... - bjs

Once again I have leased a beautiful new Ford from Jack Byrne Ford in Mechanicville and my experience was wonderful. This is at least the 8th or 9th car from this dealer and my outcome is always the same. No problems and I leave with the car that I want.

Professional and courteous service and staff. - markpizzuto

Professional and courteous service and staff. The amount of inventory on the lot affords the buyer multiple options to suit nearly every budget. I was greeted by the owners of the dealership, both of whom answered all my questions with clarity and confidence. Their knowledge of Ford products was abundantly evident. I would highly recommend Johnson Ford to anyone looking for a new or gently used vehicle.

This is a warning for anyone looking at Greenwich Ford. - ponchoD

This is a warning for anyone looking at Greenwich Ford. I am speaking up because I have the documentation to back up every word. My experience from January was a textbook shell game. When I walked in with my wife, I was met by three different people who looked us in the eye and lied. One man shook our hands, patted us on the shoulder, and promised, "We'll take care of you," while giving me a false name and position. After seven months of digging, I discovered that I never even met the real General Manager. I realized the extent of the deception only after bringing the truck back to the service desk to address the issues I noticed during the test drive—specifically the engine ticking from the leaking exhaust manifolds and the steering shimmy. It was there that I was informed of a "down payment" requirement for a warranty fix, which led me to uncover the truth about my deal. The finance manager had pulled off a classic bait-and-switch: my $6,000 down payment disappeared on one copy of the contract but reappeared when reported to the finance company, while the price of the truck was inflated from $30,000 to $39,864. They funneled that money into DOWC warranties I never asked for and never signed for. This has cost me thousands of dollars in financing charges over the life of the loan. To make matters worse, my contract states a 72-month term, but my finance company’s app shows a 73-month term. I also realized that the repairs they tried to charge me for should have been covered under their own 60-day/3,000-mile "good to go" guarantee. Doing my own research was a gold mine that finally answered questions we haven't been able to solve for seven months. There are names appearing in these reviews that aren't on any official rosters. It is shocking what goes on with these dealerships and the games they play. I am thorough, and I am preparing for my day in court because I have the documentation to prove exactly what happened. Check your paperwork closely before you take that truck or car home, even if you just finished signing the deal. Compare every copy to ensure your down payment is applied correctly and the loan terms match. Research the staff before you go so you know exactly who you are dealing with.

Was very happy with purchasing are used F150. Greatly appreciated all the help from Darren Frasier on showing me all the details and helping me with connecting my phone to the truck. Was very pleased to get a phone call the next day that my extra accessories had come in and to come right down to have them installed. Thank you again Darren for going above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied with my vehicle.

Do not recommend. - Jack

Do not recommend. Extremely unprofessional and rude staff and owner. After purchasing a used truck at sticker price (1) I was not given a spare key and the refused to get me one. (2) truck was not cleaned from the previous owner, garbage under the seats. (3) truck was given to me empty of gas, and (4) I told both the finance guy and the owner joe both in person and via email multiple times to register the truck commercial and at a specific weight. After getting the registration back not commercial and not at the weight I specifically told them, I was told by the finance guy there is nothing he can do and he will not refund me the money ($400) that I paid for them to register the truck. I reached out to the owner Joe as he was the one who sold me the truck but he ignored my multiple emails. Now I have to go to the dmv and pay for their mistake and register the truck correctly.

Extremely out of line. - Fawn

I had to have my car towed a couple days ago do to having had slid off the road. i called it in to 911 and W.S. Hinkley and sons INC was the next available tow company. Mr. Hinkley was told to bring my car to a body shop in Westerlo15 miles away from the accident site. A few hours later I contacted the body shop my car wasn't there Hinkley had taken my car back to his shop 15 miles away in the opposite direction. Once my car finally made it to my body shop, the shop owner informed me that an appraiser had already looked at my car. I NEVER placed the in claim on my car I was waiting to see what the body shop said before I called to file a claim. Hinkley took my insurance card out of my car, called my insurance company and filed the claim then gouged a tow bill that he got my body shop to pay it ALL WITH OUT my knowledge. I highly recommend you do not use this man for towing and if you do dot your I's and cross your T's.
