Purchased a 2024 Mazda CX‑5 Carbon Edition. Within a week, the car required an alignment and now brakes. The dealership started the temporary tag on 2/13/26, when I only put down a non-refundable deposit, but I didn’t pick up the vehicle or pay the remaining balance until 2/16/26, which gave me far less time to register the car and means I currently cannot drive it. The car was not detailed at delivery, with dealer paint still on the windshield and taillight. I attempted to contact the dealership but received no response. Very disappointed with the lack of follow-through and professionalism. The only bright spot was the salesman Jared, who made it easier for me to get the car traveling out of state and ensured it was given better treatment instead of being delivered in worse condition. I have historically had decent experiences with Metro Ford, but it has not been as good lately. I purchased a $120k pickup with an extended dealer’s warranty (the Patriot package or something like that?) Ford, but it has not been as good lately. I purchased a $120k pickup with an extended dealer’s warranty (the Patriot package or something like that?). I have had a couple small aesthetic issues with Black Widow accessories that were never followed up on despite the associate taking photos of the problem. Not a huge deal though (of course I’m sure they’ll be out of warranty soon, so maybe that’s the tactic? Delay until they’re no longer covered?…) Then this last service appointment, they neglected to tell me that my truck would need to be kept overnight - the only reason I found out was because I called them from work at 4:55pm to ask when my truck would be ready. Oops, we forgot to tell you it won’t be ready until tomorrow. But it’s driveable and I have a work event, so I ask them to let me pick it up and I will bring it back in the morning. Oops, the shuttle shut down at 4:30. But whatever, I Uber to the dealership and pick it up, bring it back the next morning. They let me know around 1pm it’s ready, just let us know when you need a ride. At 3:30 I start calling, texting, calling, texting. No response. Couldn’t even get anyone to answer when I called the main service number. Finally just Uber’d again at 5:15 so I could pick it up before they close. Hopefully future experiences will be better, as I expect more common courtesy and professionalism when purchasing a vehicle of this caliber. Nothing outrageous, but at least do the simple things. It’s a shame that they sold me a Cadillac-tier vehicle, just so I can wade through a Hyundai-tier service department. More
