Called the night before to set an appointment. Was told my service person was Gregory. Arrived for appointment next day, was told Gregory no longer worked there. They then directed me to some other person, and when they spoke to me, their name was different than the name I’d just been given. As I was explaining what I needed, he cut me off to tell me exactly what I had just been trying to tell him. This person must have been from another time because the second I used a four letter word (and it wasn’t (“love”), he completely freaked out and went to his manager to deal with me. I told him this is just how I talk and how people in general talk these days. He said I was wrong and nobody talked like that in everyday conversation. Good thing he doesn’t work where I do, he’d explode. I waited three hours for an oil change and new wiper blades. And only got a very general result of why my check engine light was on. They said I’d have to come back for a more detailed analysis. Maybe I’ll go to Pep Boys instead. More
