my experience with my sales representative was outstanding unfortunately i can't remember his name but his wife recently had a baby. Basically he went above and beyond to accommodate me and my cur outstanding unfortunately i can't remember his name but his wife recently had a baby. Basically he went above and beyond to accommodate me and my current situation. He was extremely nice and also checked in on me after my purchase was completed. Only thing is I still haven't received my registration from the DMV yet and I wish that Subaru could give out a small gift to new or existing purchasers just to make them feel special plus its a great marketing point for the company. After 8 years of complete satisfaction and five star reviews my opinion has changed. Always comfortable that they completed necessary services without the typical upsells that you get from dealerships a reviews my opinion has changed. Always comfortable that they completed necessary services without the typical upsells that you get from dealerships and large scale auto repair centers, under new ownership this is no longer the case. Sitting here listening to constant upsells and several unnecessary services were recommended to me. This might be my last time through the door here. Very disappointed that the vibe is 180 degrees from former management. More
I brought my 2013 Legacy in for 2 standard recalls: Airbag and Windshield wiper motor. These recalls are well over a year (maybe 2) old . My vehicle was returned to me with a trunk that wouldn't open. I was told to bring it in again. I refused as it would mean taking more time off of work. They sent a tech to my house which was nice, it turns out the person who fixed it did not release a trunk lock in the glove box. Fine. About a week later, I was driving my car on the Taconic state pkwy and it started to pour, I went to turn on my wipers and lo and behold they just DID NOT WORK. (First time I used them since the replaced motor, I work from home.) Obviously I couldn't see and on a windy part of the TSP I almost crashed on the road and also getting off the nearest exit, driving with my head sticking out the window...really, a terrible horrifying situation. Since it rained all night I was stuck an hour away from my home and had to borrow a relative's vehicle to get back for work. The same happened the next day when I brought my relative's vehicle back, as I literally mapped the radar on my route to avoid more rain- unfortunately I had to stop twice and ended up abandoning my vehicle in a shopping center. A friend came to pick me up until the weather stopped a few hours later. I should mention that when Mike from the dealership called me back the next day after receiving my voicemail where I explained the motor failure and how this almost caused me to crash several times, I received NO apology whatsoever, none. No concern at all. This person just sighed and said, "when would you like to bring it in." The answer is obviously NEVER. Subaru corporate agreed to pay to tow my car to another state, (CT) where I bought it, to be properly serviced. The fact that Subaru has actually agreed to pay for this tow says it all. I don't normally leave bad reviews online, but the absolute negligence of not thoroughly testing the wipers before returning my vehicle literally almost killed me. I don't want anyone else to ever be in that situation. More

Very minor complaint: upon check in, person checking in car noted a couple of “scratches “ present. Being concerned, as I knew there were none, I confronted him, and the “scratches “. They were, in fact, bug splatters. His response, “we’re not allowed to touch the car , so marks them as scratches “. Seems like a better process could be developed. More
