Best car experience that I could have wished for!! I had been dealing with another dealership in the city where I live and was so frustrated at the games and schemes they were playing, so I decided to I had been dealing with another dealership in the city where I live and was so frustrated at the games and schemes they were playing, so I decided to give Midlands VW a call. They put me through to Jim Hutson on the phone, and I'm so glad they did because he was wonderful! I told him exactly what I wanted (New Jetta SE) and what I could afford and Jim and Joel made it happen for me. They were SO easy, and nice to work with. I drove over an hour to deal with this dealership opposed to the one that was 2 miles from my house. I will even drive the distance to get it serviced there if I can. This is the first time I have actually purchased a car on my own and they could not have made the process any easier. Evan was really helpful when it came to financing and explained many of the several questions that I had. He seemed like he really had my best interest in mind and not just trying to get my money like other dealerships I had dealt with. After I had happily signed all of my paperwork with Evan, Jim explained every last detail about the car itself and what to expect. He is so detail oriented, and I really appreciated it! I didn't want to drive home a brand new car that I had no idea how to use. Jim went above and beyond and was just a genuinely great person to work with. I am in LOVE with my new VW Jetta! Thank you so so so much to Jim, Joel, and Evan for being a pleasure to work with and allowing me to take home my dream car! More

I contacted Midlands in order to inquire about a 2015 VW Passat. I spoke with Joey and he simply answered my questions as asked. The typical “Come on down, take a look around” pushy salesman approach was never utilized. Joey was friendly and paid particular attention to answering several questions. We communicated multiple times regarding the purchase of a vehicle and Joey was always courteous and professional. About a week later, the family and I were out for a family fun night and decided to stop by the dealership. It was an unannounced stop in order to meet Joey in person. He was just as professional and inviting in person as he had been over the telephone. We walked the lot and looked over the available inventory. The exact trim level desired wasn’t available at that time. As it was the end of the model year, a specific vehicle couldn’t be ordered as I have done many times in the past. Joey understood my reasoning for having specifics and told me that he would continue to search other dealerships for the desired vehicle. Prior to leaving the dealership, Joey introduced me to the sales manager Joel. Joel was a direct extension of the courteous and professional attitude I had received from Joey. Joey contacted me with available trim level and color options. Being a picky consumer, Joey put in a great deal of effort finding a vehicle that would placate my requests. Joey was always professional and friendly throughout my being picky with color choice availability. We settled on a vehicle and Joey retrieved it the next day in spite of it being several hours away. Joey ensured the vehicle was prepped for my arrival the next day. The trade-in negotiations were stress-free as Joel explained the value given and basis behind it. He was fair and equitable handling the entire purchase and trade-in process. He was able to beat the excellent, pre-approved, financing I had setup prior to going to the dealership. Joel ensured the paperwork process was quick and easy. He also confirmed that I understood each item prior to signing and was open for any questions. great experience I went in to buy used Vehicle, but ended up with new 2015 Beetle. I never imagined that would happen. With Joel and Geneva's help, I got my payments t I went in to buy used Vehicle, but ended up with new 2015 Beetle. I never imagined that would happen. With Joel and Geneva's help, I got my payments the same as with a used car and Joel got my interest rate cut in half. They have all kinds of great deals and ways to assist people. I wasn't even there very long. Geneva even stayed after hours helping sync my phone to the car's system. I highly recommend them to anyone. More

Geneva met us in the parking lot and took awesome care of us while we waited for Joel, who was working with another customer. We went on a test drive with Geneva and it was a great experience. She is definitely a 'people person' with a great attitude. Joel was awesome!! He got the numbers where they needed to be, making the process quick and 'painless'.. Was out of the dealership and on the way back home in about 2 1/2hrs.. Quickest time I have ever dealt with while buying a car.. I would recommend this dealership to anyway!! Great service!! pleasent and Very friendly When I first arrived at the dealership I was kinda nervous about going in because most dealerships tend to want to pressure you into buying a vehicle. We sat inside the dealership for around 5 minutes and looked at a 2015 Jetta which was very affordable. Markus one of the sales associates assisted me and showed me around the Jetta. He wasn't pressuring and made me feel comfortable enough and sat down with me. I ended up getting a new Jetta. I will always recommend this dealership and Markus to anyone looking to buy a VW or other model. Everyone at the dealership seemed to be very kind and friendly as well. More

Leasing out of State We live in West Hartford, CT and my daughter is a student at University of South Carolina. I needed to start a new lease on a vehicle for her but couldn't do it in Connecticut as I couldn't drive it down with her. We found Midlands VW on line and dealt with Markus and Joel. They told us that we could lease the car in South Carolina and return it when the lease ended in Connecticut. We conducted the entire negotiation remotely and every expectation and promise was met as agreed. I cannot say enough about their professionalism and accommodations, they even picked my daughter up at the airport and she was thrilled to see all the amenities and details as promised! More

However, we appreciate all of the time and effort they put in on our behalf. Thanks to them! I talked to the Sales Manager, Stuart Faulk, to discuss our options going forward. It had been 6 - 7 weeks since we put down a deposit to purchase a car-but still no car. A simple apology would have been greatly appreciated, but none given. Unfortunate! My conversation with him is why we asked for a return of our deposit and why we will not do business with Midlands VW. He is a jerk and very condescending. Terms I rarely use, but are appropriate in this situation. The disrepect he showed in his final comment to me was, "I don't want to talk anymore". At which point he hung up on me! This is not a person I would ever do business with- ever! Rude! More
