I reached out to them about a 2000 Porsche 911 they have. They both assured me the car ran great and was issue free. Further assuring me the salesperson said when they get German cars in that aren’t satisfactory after inspection by the German shop they are able to return them to auction. i was sent three photos of the worst imperfections and told the car needed a good paint correction and it would be solid. I flew to Chicago and went to the dealer where I was sat down in front of paperwork (where I was told for the first time they had to do a background check and soft credit pull even though I was paying cash, would have been nice to be informed that beforehand) before even test driving or inspecting, I said I wouldn’t complete the deal until I had a chance to do those things. So I began inspecting the car and got down underneath and there was oil seepage all under the engine, as best as I could tell the rear main seal was shot (common and expensive issue on these cars), this wasn’t a little bit, wiping my hands underneath covered them in oil. In addition, the paint work needed more work than what I was led to believe and the rear bumper where the Carfax said there was a minor accident was clearly poorly fixed/misaligned. They offered $500 then $1000 off or for me to wait to have it looked at by their German shop again the next day, but I frankly had seen enough and was not comfortable with the purchase. At this point it was too late to book a return flight, train, bus, or rental car. I had to purchase the first flight out and pay for transportation to the airport, since the ticket was so expensive last minute I decided to not book a hotel. As soon as I said I would not buy the car I was somewhat ignored, and they couldn’t even offer to drive me to the airport or call me an Uber there as a small token for my wasted time and money. All in all, the dishonesty or lack of attention to detail, however you want to interpret it, cost me $650, about 18 hours of time and a full night of sleep. If you’re looking to deal with them from out of state, I’d recommend looking elsewhere. More
Brought my 2021 Buick envision in in April after receiving dashboard and email messages that my transmission needed service. They stated I was low on coolant and that was causing the issue. Fast fwd 2 months when I take my car in for an oil change. 4 hours later they state my car has a leak and there's no ETA on when they'll get the part. Their initial solution was for me to check the coolant daily and bring it in weekly to be "topped off ". After complaining and writing a negative review on Google, they agreed to put me in a rental. It has now been 4 weeks that they've had my car and I haven't received any updates. I've called weekly and noone will return my call. I've messaged customer service and they've taken messages but still noone has contacted me. All I get is a cut and paste email from Sabrina Haggerty that doesn't address my concern at all. I'm keeping my end of the deal and paying my lease, I don't think a phone call updating me is too much to ask. This is my 3rd car from this dealership and it will be my last. That person don't work here. The car was a 2014 with scratches grey I been to other deal places and I brought a pre-own car for 17,000 should not have scratches. I register this car to my village. I got car insurance living and Oak Park IL. Oh yes I forgot to tell you I change key fob. They said it my be the battery. And when I left the car was a half a tank. It was showing low on fuel. I don't if this why the car dead and not working. nevertheless I don't have my money back and I don't have a car. I wanted go there if I was on fire and needed water to put out. I never been threw this in my life and yes I'm very very upset. They get no stars for me. I cause you have to buy off the showroom floor. To get decent service. I bought a 2017 GMC Terrain from Mike Pendleton. The car was nice and what I wanted but the experience was not what I expected my first time buying a car. I was told when they were off strike to come back and I could get the second key because no one else knew how to program it. I was also told scratches and dents would be fixed by them along with free oil changes for 2 years. Well when the mechanics came off strike I waited about a week for a call saying the key was ready but I heard nothing. I finally called an spoke to Mike and all of the sudden he can’t remember not giving me a second key and never promised anything about the dents or scratches. He told me I probably did them. I then brought my car in for my second oil change when it was due. I was told by the service guy that it would be my last oil change. I was confused and said I haven’t had the car 2 years yet so I still have plenty more oil changes left. The service man told me that I must’ve misunderstood Mike because the deal in 2 oil changes in 2 years. Not something I misunderstood. It was something was communicated to me in a deceitful manner. My interest rate on my car was double than what was originally discussed too. It was obviously my fault for simply trusting them and not reading the paperwork but how slimy. THIS DEALERSHIP IS NOT TRUSTWORTHY !!! THEY CHEAT ON CUSTOMERS!!! I had very bad experience here. 3 years ago, I leased a 2018 Buick and now my lease gonna end within 2 month so they called me to ta CUSTOMERS!!! I had very bad experience here. 3 years ago, I leased a 2018 Buick and now my lease gonna end within 2 month so they called me to talk about the next step, which is weather to buy this car or get a new lease. They told me it will be $27k if I decide to own this car. I trust them (which I shouldn't) so I singed the new contract , it was on a Friday afternoon. But when I went back home, I had a look at my old lease agreement 3 years ago, I find out the price should only be $20k. So I came back next morning. Let them cancelled the new, unfair contract. After that I got a car loan from American Eagle Bank with a much lower interest rate than this dealer gave me ( 2.74% vs 3.99%) and the price is $20k. So what I have been experienced is this dealer, they tried to buy this car from me without letting me know and they will sell this car to me at the same time! They made me signed a lot of papers and didn't gave me copies, these papers are actually saying I will sold this car to them. So can get $7000 more from me. IT IS CONSUMER ABUSE!!!! SO please don't go there because I am lucky I get the new contract cancelled, but not everyone will be lucky. I believe they have many tricks cheat on customers and this dealership has bad reputation, you can find out by yourself. More
