We were searching for a 2012 Escape, and the online prices were all over the place. We actually went to Omera Ford, and were treated in typical fashion for a dealership: endless games, obscured pricing prices were all over the place. We actually went to Omera Ford, and were treated in typical fashion for a dealership: endless games, obscured pricing, everything about the monthly payments, and we finally walked out very upset and frustrated by the experience of "haggling" with people determined to never be forthright! To this day, I honestly have NO idea what they were going to price their Escape at! Hours utterly wasted! After more online searching, we went to Longmont Ford and were vastly and pleasantly surprised. Their prices were exactly what we had found online, and there was no haggling. Just extremely straightforward, crystal-clear pricing and terms. Before we ever went over to the financing department, we knew what we were going to pay, so there were never any games about "hitting some target monthly payment" and that sort of ridiculousness! Also, Joey knew the 2012 Escape inside and out (a very nice contrast with the utterly clueless salesman at Omera), and he even helped us get some initial things set up, such as pairing my phone with the car's system. We've purchased a lot of cars over the decades (new and used), and we have never had any experience as painless and straightforward as with Longmont Ford. WELL worth our 20-minute drive to get up there from Westminster. We'll even happily make the drive to have the vehicle serviced. A decent dealer is HARD to find, and we'll stay with this one at this point! More
Visiting Boulder, I decided I needed an Expedition EL to drive back home to North Carolina. I found the car I wanted on the Longmont Ford website. A car became available, I talked it over with Steve, purchased the car, came and met Steve, test drove it and drove it away all in a matter of about one hour. All this with having never met Steve or been to Longmont Ford. Car buying can't get any easier than that. Thank's Steve! More
My experience did not start out great. My wife and I live in Eagle, CO, and headed to Denver to shop for a new-to-us car. After being shutout for most of the day, we were aware of the car we ultimately purch in Eagle, CO, and headed to Denver to shop for a new-to-us car. After being shutout for most of the day, we were aware of the car we ultimately purchased- at Longmont Ford. Before making the drive from south Broomfield, I called the dealership to make sure, 100% the vehicle we wanted was in stock. After the 8th call, and dump into voicemail- I told the receptionist that if Longmont Ford wanted to sell a car tonight, I needed to speak with someone. On this 9th call, I was finally connected with Vico. He was prompt, courteous and professional- placing me on a brief hold. He confirmed the vehicle was still on the lot, and I told him that were enroute. We arrived at the dealership around 6pm, Saturday January 11. Upon our arrival, I found the Ford Edge had been recently washed and was available right at your sales trailers (good luck with the remodel!). Vico was quickly located, and answered all of my questions without hesitation or creating additional confusion. Though we were not able to reach the deal I wanted on my trade in, we were able to come to a mutually beneficial agreement, and the rest of our time spent at Longmont Ford was great!! The whole process was easy. Chaz in the Finance Department was able to make the rest of the process as easy, and it's clear that the Longmont Ford team functions at a high level.
