I came to Longmont Ford looking for a used car. I didn't have an appointment, but Steve saw me right away and showed me a car I saw online. This was my first experience at a dealership, and although I had have an appointment, but Steve saw me right away and showed me a car I saw online. This was my first experience at a dealership, and although I had heard lots of car buying horror stories from family and friends, I was very pleasantly surprised by the service I received here. I was especially impressed with Steve. I never felt pressured into buying, I was offered a fair deal, Steve knew what he was talking about, and the work the shop did to the car pre-sale was excellent. My only complaint is that waiting time to close the deal was long, but this seems to be the case with most dealerships. More
I have had two experiences with this dealership. I should have stayed away the second time but thought the outcome would be different. Boy was I wrong. It started off well, Gary came out and began to answer our questions. He got a carfax and showed us some info on the vehicle in question. We went inside to get some more info and his car and sat down. In typical dealer fassion they said the best way to have our vehicle inspected by our own shop we need to get a deal in place. The vehicles online price was $6500, So we offered $5500 thinking that they would come back with a counter offer. Well we got a counter offer, a snide sounding Gary saying "we dont haggle here at all, our prices are already low as is" So I asked that they wont even consider any offers and he came back with the same attitude saying "no" At that time I looked to my significant other and said "See, this is the expletive I knew would happen" Well that set Gary off. I attempted to just walk out and take my business elseware but Gary decided he wanted to argue with me and try and set me straight on there outlook there at the "highest rated dealer" on this site does nothing wrong. My significant other went back inside to file a complaint with the GM and he spoke with her but did NOTHING to combat the situation between Gary and I. The argument got rather heated and was very inappropriate for someone to do to a costumer. I'm young and I thinkg that had something to do with it. So to sum it up, STAY AWAY, if you have mediocre credit DO NOT have them run your credit, it will ding you approx. 10 times and make it worse. If you have questions on why that happens, Call Gary he will explain. Also, if you find chewing tobacco disgusting then he's not the sales person to deal with. They allow him to have a chew in while dealing with customers and spitting the little peices that stick to his lips while doing so. This is not a vendetta, this is the honest truth on how I was treated with the "best dealer" rated service. I took my business to Interstate Ford, so far it's been the other end of the spectrum with service, I suggest going there before heading to Longmont Ford. More
We drove from Wyoming about 200 miles (400 miles round trip) and from the moment we entered this dealership we felt like we were a valued customer - The entire staff was more than willing to help us and m trip) and from the moment we entered this dealership we felt like we were a valued customer - The entire staff was more than willing to help us and make the buying as painless as possible - I think that if we wanted to test every car on the lot Longmont Ford staff would accommodated our request - Longmont Ford was willing to deal but their prices were thousands less compared to other dealers that were closer and those local dealers did not want to deal plus when visiting a dealership in my home town I did not feel as a valued customer or a customer worth the sales staff time - Worth the drive to Longmont Ford - Will recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a vehicle - Thanks Ed, Jeremy and Chaz More

On Sat Nov 17, 2012. I went in to Longmont Ford looking to buy a Ford F-150. I was approached by Sales leader Gene. He was very informative and helpful. We went over aggreable terms and payments which was to buy a Ford F-150. I was approached by Sales leader Gene. He was very informative and helpful. A half hour later when we were getting ready to start the paper work the general manager stated that they wouldn't be able to give us the trade in amount they quoted us for our truck. That they gave us to much, and are now going back on there word on the initial agreement. I asked how they could change their quote? He stated that they over allowed and now can't come to terms on the deal. My question is that is this how this dealership does buisness? Lead on their customer agree to terms and then change there mind on the deal. This is a bad way to provide customer service to there customers. If they were not going to give that amount for my truck then they should have told me from the begining. Not go back on there word. I have never expierenced this before. Unfortuniatly a very bad experience. More
