It reminds me of the employees at Chick-Fil-A restaurants, which is not a surprising coincidence. I hate typical dealerships and usually feel "violated" when I leave. This was not the case at all with Longmont Ford. My salesman Vico was extremely honest, very friendly, knowledgeable about the product, and patient. I started by inquiring over the phone about a car on the internet. Vico was the person I dealt with on the phone. I was a difficult customer on the phone, yet Vico persisted, but in a positive and very effective way. After feeling like they had the product I wanted (he even transferred a car from another dealership, so I could choose between two), I decided to make the 1 hr drive to make the final decision. We had a tough time deciding between the two and he was patient and offered several ideas to help us decide. Once we decided he was efficient in making the transaction final. It was New Year's eve when we made this purchase. Vico never indicated a hurried attitude to complete the process so he could leave. I am pretty sure we were one of the last two customers to finish. I found my vehicle on Autotrader and went down to the dealership to check it out. They had just taken the vehicle on trade, and it was a brand other than Ford. I think for this reason, they had an extremely aggressive price (i.e. low) based on what the blue book value was for the model/year/mileage. Immediately I was skeptical because of the price but they provided service and inspection records for things that they had performed, let me take a test drive and I was satisfied. The vehicle needed a new windshield and they offered to pay for that which was a bonus. I also traded in a vehicle that was not a Ford and they gave me what I expected my car was worth. After purchasing the vehicle I had it serviced at a different dealership and there were no major problems found with the vehicle. A great deal, great people to work with, and a great experience.
