Two years later and still satisfied I bought my Subaru Outback from Mike Shaw Subaru in 2012. I had a wonderful experience then. I have had Mike Shaw Subaru service my vehicle since the purchase and have always been extremely happy. Everyone at the dealership has always done a great job for me. I usually deal with Kathy Nerka in the service department, who has been professional and helpful in getting my vehicle serviced. Amazing Outback, Excellent Price, Wonderful Experience While looking for a new vehicle we reached out to all Subaru and Honda dealers in our area and asked for their best price on Outback Premiums and CR-V While looking for a new vehicle we reached out to all Subaru and Honda dealers in our area and asked for their best price on Outback Premiums and CR-V EX-Ls, respectively. Jared from Mike Shaw got back to us within a few hours and quoted us an excellent price on two 2015 Outback Premiums in our preferred color. He did a marvelous job of clearly explaining the different packages over the phone when I asked, after another Subaru dealer we visited had incorrectly told us what each package contained and which features were available together. The prices Jared sent us were significantly lower than the couple responses we'd received from other Subaru dealers, and we felt comfortable going in to Mike Shaw without waiting for additional quotes. We ended up buying a fully-loaded 2015 Outback Premium and we love its features and its all-weather package. Stylish, high-quality car. Jared was exceptional in every way: friendly, informative, efficient, professional, and he had a good sense of humor. He continually went out of his way to make sure all of our questions were answered and that we had everything we needed. He guided us through the entire process, including getting us in to financing quickly and personally following up after the detailing to ensure our satisfaction. Working with him was a true pleasure. And did I mention the awesome Outback at a great price? The only complaint we have is that Jared is a Red Wings fan. (Just kidding, Jared!) Go Avs! More

They did find that the timing belt was in really bad shape and ready to break at any time among many other issues. Which you can expect some issues buying a used car, but the major ones like the timimg belt is a serious issue. I took it straight back to the Dealership. Talked to a manager because my salesman Johnny Vitale was gone for the day. Told him what the mechanic found and that I wanted it fixed or to return the car. He told me i couldn't return it because the loan papers had already gone through. I argued the point w/ him and they reluctantly agreed to fix the timing belt . However, the next day my salesman Johnny Vitale called me and said he wanted me to be happy w/ the sale and wanted to know what i wanted to do. Did i want a different car or get this one fixed or what would make me happy. My son liked the car so i asked to get it fixed. He did get the timing belt fixed as well as several other things that it needed. I also want to add in the beginning when i told him where i wanted to be w/ the price range and for no more than 2 years, he made it happen w/ our trade in and the cost. I definately recommend asking for Johnny Vitale if you go to Mike Shaw. He goes the extra mile. More

Our daughter got the car she wanted, at a great price, with super service and a very good first time buyers experience! We are very happy with Mike Shaw Subaru and especially with Keith Traczynski. Certified used and wore out! Bought a 2006 Grand Cherokee 2 weeks ago.... Worst deal ever! After a few days at home I find bondo in the rear & front quarters, hail damage that doesn't show until the light is just right... $500 worth of painless dent removal and it is still beat to xxxx! Won't shift into 4x4 low. Made them fix this, but they tried to sell it to me like that! They did the brake pads but left rotors that are out of tolerance. Now I take it to my maintenance guys & $750 worth of front end repairs... lower ball joints & 4 tie rod ends... Front differential mounting bushings are gone... another $500+ fix. NEVER BUY USED FROM THESE PEOPLE!!! They will sell you crap! More

Back again to get another one! I have just ordered my fifth Subaru, the fourth from this dealer, and from Cliff Swaim. I have nothing but good stuff to say about the cars, the dealer, the service, (Kathy was great) the salesman. They just deliver a superior product and they tell the truth, and do the job. When I knew I wanted another car, I drove six or seven other vehicles. My friends were laughing, when I said I would trade for the same car again, teasing me I was part of a "Cult" sticking with the same exact car again, so I gave it a shot. I drove all the competition. Nothing matched the car, of course. And since I know these folks, why go anywhere else. Another Forester for me. What more can I say. I will be back again in another five or six years. More

I purchased a 2011 Legacy from them last Saturday. The oil light on the car was on when I took it for a test drive. The salesman told me not to worry. After purchasing the car, I had the Subaru mechanic at the dealership check the oil and it was 1.5 quarts low, so he filled it. The next day I noticed an oil leak. As I was returning the car to the dealership, the engine blew out and I was stranded on the side of highway 66 in Longmont. After being picked up by a tow truck and driven to the dealership, I spoke with the GM of the store, Dan Pham. When I stated the facts to Dan and told him I was reporting the dealership to the State Attorney General, he threatened to screw me out of $22000 and not give me a refund. He also threatened not to give me a refund if I did not remove my complaint with the Better Business Bureau. After agreeing to move the negative comments, he gave me a refund, but refused to give me a loaner car or arrange for a ride for me to my job in Fort Collins, so I had to walk 50+ miles to my office down highway 25. When I walked on the lot I had a good feeling about her. She was helpful, non-aggressive, and you could tell she wasn't trying to rip you off. I really appreciate that. I came in to look at a 2001 Subaru Forester and she took me and my friend for a test drive to get a feel for the car. We sat down so I could decide if I wanted it and we walked through the carfax. It was in great shape and you could tell the previous owners took care of it. Instead of her focusing on the price aspect (i.e. It's a great deal! You have to have it! Priced to sell! Someone will come in and take it!), she talked to me at lengths about the safety and quality aspects. She wanted to sell me a good car that I would feel safe and comfortable driving in. I'm really happy with it. As part of the negotiation, the check engine light was on in the car and she arranged for the mechanics to take care of it right away. Nothing was wrong with the car, it was just an old sensor that needed to be replaced ($500 value!). She fixed the sensor, detailed it, and shaved a bit off the price in order to cut me a deal. The car buying experience was pretty good if you ask me. I just have to say that Jamie really cares about her customers and goes above and beyond to make sure we walk away happy and satisfied. More
