Practically every step of the way, I was on defense trying to secure the price offered on Autotrader. It’s actually crazy how difficult the sales team at Millennium, aside from the business manager, Ma trying to secure the price offered on Autotrader. It’s actually crazy how difficult the sales team at Millennium, aside from the business manager, Mateusz, made this sale. First, they wouldn’t allow a cash purchase without a 10% up charge (?!). After I pushed back and said I’d contact Autotrader about the advertised price discrepancy, they dropped that. Then, after I placed my deposit, the manager, Ryan, called to tell me that they would no longer be willing to sell me the car because the damaged windshield cost too much to fix. When I told him I was meant to pick up the car on Saturday and I was going to be left without a vehicle after they break the agreement, he reassured me by offering to help get me into one of their more expensive brand new cars instead. I spoke with another manager and he told me to pretend that call never happened. Finally, the perks advertised when buying a car through their dealership were also “unavailable” for any used car purchase of a different manufacturer other than Hyundai. This was also backtracked. I don’t know if this all part of some unethical playbook they have, but I would get absolutely get everything in writing before even walking in the door. I did get the used car after pushing back at every objection/ upsell offered and the cars been running great. Again, the business manager, Mateusz, was fantastic and I absolutely would’ve walked away without his clarity and support. More
Waited 3 hours for oil change and inspection. After 3 hours and pay twice as much for oil change I was told they did not have time for inspection because I was “inpatient “. If there was something he needed to verify, he didn't hesitate to consult his manager or follow up with the right experts to make sure I had 100% accurate information. He really encouraged me to take my time with the test drive and never made me feel rushed. The service was top-tier and the communication was excellent.
