I recently brought my 2019 Hyundai Sonata to Mitchell Hyundai for an inspection due to an oil leak. As I explained that I had spoken with HMA about the issue, Mitch became defensive, dismissing their input as that of a "third-party company" and implying they were incompetent. His know-it-all demeanor was off-putting and unprofessional. To make matters worse, I later learned that a family member had a similar encounter with Mitch when they required service. It's concerning that this behavior seems to be consistent. As a business owner myself, I understand the importance of treating customers with respect and professionalism, qualities that were sorely lacking in this interaction. Additionally, Mitchell Hyundai failed to address the oil leak adequately. They claimed it wasn't covered under warranty, attributing it to a common issue with the same model vehicles. However, if multiple customers are experiencing similar problems, shouldn't this be a cause for concern regarding the vehicle's design or manufacturing? Overall, my experience at Mitchell Hyundai was disappointing. I would caution anyone seeking vehicle services to explore other options. Dealing with a dismissive and cocky attitude from staff is not only frustrating but also reflects poorly on the establishment as a whole. More
