Been doing oil consumption test since November of 2021. Can never get a straight answer on how many test has to be done. Was told after the cylinder soak was done they would check again after a 1000 miles More

Thank you for the review on us here at Mitchell Hyundai. Unfortunately, oil consumption issues are a drawn-out process that the manufacture makes us do. We have no control over the process or length of the process. I apologize that you were misled with beginning information that we provided you. Once the drive cycle is done after the cylinder soak, we will contact corporate to see what they are going to do. Oil consumption is not currently under any recalls at this time. Time may change that as well. Please let us know if you want do continue to do the consumption test procedures. I apologize for any misleading or incorrect information you may have received from us in the past. Mitch Deese Service Manager
