While on the trip there, I received a friendly confirmation call from their call center that the keys for both cars had been "pulled" and were waiting on me for my "appointment" at 5pm. I was shocked to find that on my arrival at 5pm, that one of the cars was in the process of being SHOWN TO OTHER PEOPLE. I contacted the call center, who attempted to rectify the situation. The men behind the circular desk were absolutely NO HELP, and did not seem to care that I had driven up there, nor that I had CASH IN HAND to buy the vehicle. The "manager" assured me that he "would handle it," then walked off and never said another word to me. Another salesperson told me that the keys HAD been pulled, but one of his rival salesmen had taken the keys OFF OF HIS DESK to show it to the other customer, even though that was not protocol. To make matters worse, the salesperson who showed me the second vehicle knew NOTHING about it. He could not even figure out HOW TO GET IN THE BACKSEAT, because the locks were all manual. He also could not tell me the specs on the car, and when I asked him the specs on the car, such as auxiliary wiring and the Blue Book Value, he told me that I could "probably look it up on my phone." Meanwhile, he decided to go ahead and run paperwork without asking me, and began pushing this cheap car on me while I watched the car that I had reserved be purchased by a teenage girl and her father. I was so disgusted that I was ready to leave. I had to ask multiple times for the keys back to my car, and had to be pretty blunt about my disappointment. It turns out that they under-quoted the value of my current vehicle by $1000 (we took it to another dealer just to see) and OVER-QUOTED the vehicle they tried to sell me by $2000. After finally getting the heck out of there, he actually CALLED ME ON MY CELL PHONE to argue with me about not choosing to buy the car. I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN. Can't believe that I drove back to my hometown to see a dealership that my family has trusted for years completely ruined by such unprofessional incompetence. TOTAL WASTE OF TIME. More

Great. They purchased a truck at a car sale that was more than I could afford, also stating that they could sell it from their lot if it would not work for me. So I asked for my check back and was informed that it was cashed. Maybe it was my fault to be so trusting. Lesson learned. I will never, ever do business with these people. Be warned. More

Boone Ford helped me when I could not get approved anywhere! A specific car or truck is not what I was looking for. I was desperate for something and had already been turned down by my bank and 4 dealerships. Th A specific car or truck is not what I was looking for. I worked with Jake Cornett and he was very helpful and I was stunned when he called me back and said that he got me approved!! I was turned down by 4 dealerships that said I had to have 1500 down or no deal. My bank said cant do anything. I have to hand it to Boone Ford and especially Jake Cornett for all that he did. He made it so easy and was the friendliest salesman I have met. He also gave me great pointers on how to build my credit. I love that place and will be referring anyone I know to Jake Cornett and Boone Ford. Thank you so MUCH!!! Love my car and service!! More

A couple days later he called back and said he still had not heard back. The only reason I was dealing with him over the phone and online is because I did not have a ride there during business hours. After 2 weeks Jake emailed me back, Here is our exchange: Jake: Hi Bryan, this is Jake Cornett at Boone Ford. I guess the jeep was not going to work out for you and it has been sold. Are you still looking for a vehicle? Let me know we got some stuff in and I can keep an eye out for you. Bryan: After not hear back from you for 2 weeks and after seeing you ran my credit through at least 3 different credit check companies I found something else and hopefully better. You guys suck and were a complete waste of my time. Jake: That was me trying to help you and we did get you approved and then did not hear back from you after I told you the money you needed down. Your attitude sucks and trying to get you approved made me dumber just dealing with you. Jake: You never even showed up and that was more work than you think. THis is why I dont try to approve people like you or care anymore because you show no appreciation for the time I did try to help you. Everything seemed fine until we got down to talking about the number and things got fishy. Greg the finance guy is dim witted and his vagueness made him sound shady. Enter Alfred Glover, the owner, with his slick smile and his complimenting of my wife's shoes. Instead of sounding personable and professional, he just came of greasy, I wanted to bathe. They never could get the numbers to show what we agreed to so we drove a few miles away and saved $1500 in cash and 2% in credit. I guess there is an obvious reason they sell so few cars per month.
