I had a service visit, oil change and NYS inspection . My vehicle was taken on time, serviced, and completed in a timely fashion. Don McLennan was very courteous, professional, and helpful. If I could give them zero stars, I most definitely would! My entire experience was absolutely disgusting! It started on a Saturday, I test drove the vehicle I have had my eye on for months and I loved it! Sa My entire experience was absolutely disgusting! It started on a Saturday, I test drove the vehicle I have had my eye on for months and I loved it! Sat down with sales rep Matthew Marcil, worked out the numbers and discussed my concerns. We agreed upon $1,000 down and $500 monthly payments. Matt went to his finance manager multiple times during the hour plus that I was in the dealership. I was told I could pick up my new vehicle in a few days and that someone would be in touch with me on Monday. As soon as I walked out the door, I received a call from Rob Newton in finance telling me they are unable to approve me as my negative equity is too high and asked if I would like a brand new vehicle instead (how this is supposed to make sense, I'm not entirely sure.) So i reached back out to Matt via email (twice) and both emails went ignored. Monday came and went and I never received the phone call I was promised on Saturday. First thing this (Tuesday) morning I sent Matt an email with copy to two managers and finally received a response. I was then given another finance person to deal with, James Desentis, who goes on to tell me I need $2,500 down. I explained that was preposterous and that $1,000 was the agreed amount when the deal was made on Saturday. I spent from 10:15AM to 3:00PM fighting with managers and finance reps only for them to call me and tell me I needed more money down and that my payments would be $630 a month. General Sales Manager Katie Duncan has since tried to give me more money ($500) for my trade in as they are apologizing for 'the confusion" and wasting my time.. as there was no disclosure that I was not yet approved when I walked out their door. Matthew Marcil, Robert Newton, Katie Duncan and James Desentis are four of THE worst sales reps I have dealt with, and I have never had such trouble getting into a used vehicle.. EVEN JUST DAYS AFTER MY BANKRUPTCY CLEARED IN 2017!! More
