Scam artists At first glance, my wife and I were impressed with Mooresville Ford. We traded in our F-150 for a used car and the Sales Rep was very helpful. He spend plenty of time helping us get the price we were looking for. Now to where things turned ugly. As with every dealership trade in, we signed an authorization for payoff on 12/31/17, giving Mooresville Ford PLENTY of time to pay off our previous financier so they could retain title of ownership. However, 3 MONTHS LATER (yes, last week in March), we received a letter from Mooresville Ford saying that we owed them an additional $400. I simply ignored the letter since they had plenty of time (3 months to be exact) to bring it to our attention that they mis-quoted the payoff. Then some woman from the dealership called my wife and harassed her with the threat of involving an attorney multiple times. The cowards didn't even have the courage to call me (and they have my number since I was the one who signed all of the forms). This speaks volumes to the character/morals of the ownership of this dealership. PLEASE, IF ANYONE IS INTERESTED IN PURCHASING A FORD, PLEASE TRY ELSEWHERE FIRST. THIS DEALERSHIP IS A PIECE OF TRASH THAT DEALS IN DECEPTION AND PREYS ON UN-KNOWING CUSTOMERS. More
