The Forester Hybrid in my preferred color wasn’t in stock, so Sheridan quickly checked on a dealer trade. He returned with his manager, Paul, who confirmed they could bring one in from Wisconsin and presented a written out-the-door price. Paul understood I still intended to test drive a Honda and applied absolutely no pressure. I felt respected, well-informed, and confident in the offer, so I decided to move forward with Subaru without visiting Honda. This was the Saturday before Easter, and Morrie’s had my new Forester ready by Monday. I left the dealership feeling completely at ease with my decision.
