We liked the fact that she was not trying to give us a "hard sell" but instead just trying to make sure she understood our wishes and needs and could provide helpful answers to all our questions. In the end her approach was one of the major factors that "sold" us on a new car from Shelor. Kathy introduced us to other sales people and supervisors along the way. She was able to obtain for us within a few days the exact model and color we wanted, and with no prior commitment for us to actually purchase it. She and everyone else at Shelor had done their homework on our behalf when we returned a week later, so that the business/financial end of our transaction proceeded very smoothly and quickly, especially compared to other such transactions we have had at different dealerships in the past. We went to Shelor to trade in our SUV. We had talked w/ Bowie over the phone the day before about the price range we wanted our payment to be within and he told us to come on up and he would work with us. He took the time to not only let us test drive the original car we were looking at but also 2 others. We never felt pressured by him to buy any of the cars (unlike the experience we had when we purchased the SUV).
