Dealership contributes to auto dealers' bad reputation The salesman was great. The rest of the crew lie and don't care much after the sale is completed. It took them more them two weeks to payoff the balance of my trade-in. And this after I got after them while they were passing me from department to department and person to person. I finally left a message for Gretchen who was supposed to have called me back. Never heard back from her. A day later the sales manager calls me with the news that they have finally paid off the loan on my trade-in. My new car was also not cleaned properly before delivery. These people left a very bad taste in my mouth. The only reason I had gone to them was the good reviews that they had posted by others. I wonder if my review will get posted??!!! More

Zero Follow Up I inquired about a used car in April of 2015. No response. No call, no email, nothing. I contacted them again in May about trading my car. Again, no r I inquired about a used car in April of 2015. No response. No call, no email, nothing. I contacted them again in May about trading my car. Again, no response. On May 20 I inquired again, and again heard nothing. I finally went in that afternoon. When I gave the guy my info, he said it was already in the computer that I'd contacted them several times. He said the computer entries show they'd called and left messages and sent emails. I pointed to the last entry and told him that it was made less than a half hour earlier. I said, if someone really called me, don't you think we both would have heard my phone ring while I was sitting there? I told him that clearly someone is putting fake entries in the computer, and maybe they should look into that. Finally we test drove and discussed a car. I made a cash offer. He responded that they have fixed pricing and don't accept offers. I made a higher offer the next day, and he replied that they weren't interested. Today they changed the price on their website to almost exactly what I already offered. Did they bother to call me? No. Really nice guy but simply the worst customer service I've gotten from a car dealership. More

Mountain States Toyota and Jen Decker changing the game I bought my first car, a 2014 Rav4, in December/2014 from some random dealership that was recommended by friends. Soon after, I found out that I had b I bought my first car, a 2014 Rav4, in December/2014 from some random dealership that was recommended by friends. Soon after, I found out that I had been horribly deceived by the aforementioned dealership. Paid too much, got a car that didn't suit my needs, and flat out hated the entire experience. The experience was aversive enough that I didn't even consider finding another car just to avoid going through the whole process again. When I went to Toyota for my first check, I found out maintenance wasn't covered, even though the car had only 16.000 miles. But, Jen Decker came to the rescue. She patiently took me for a ride on a golf cart to show me some alternatives (popcorn included). She was not pushy or forceful, explained every step of the process to me in an approachable and understandable way. She seemed to take my bad experience personally and was intrinsically motivated to help me minimize the damage of my previous mistake. As a bonus, she's also hilarious. Everyone at the Toyota dealership seemed to genuinely enjoy their jobs and they have been in contact with me since my purchase, ensuring quality, remaining available to explain everything (from paperwork to car features), and even sent me a box of goodies to congratulate me on my most recent acquisition, a PriusC called Rita. I am truly appreciative and pleasantly surprised at all the help and support I received. Without a doubt, I would, have, and will continue to recommend Mountain States and Jen to everyone I know and like. To all others, I'll recommend Maaliki Motors. More

Andy Im greeted us at the front door and spent the entire day with us to get us the right vehicle at the right price. I am not kidding - the whole day. Andy was not only knowledgeable but a super nice guy - we will send all our friends and family to him / at Mountain States Toyota - and we would love to come back and buy from him again. Additionally - we were given a great lunch so we could talk over our options without having to leave the dealership. The finance person was honest and efficient. There were no high pressure tactics - only helpfulness and efficiency. I never would have thought a car dealership could amaze me ! This place makes you want to buy cars - they know how to make people feel good about making large purchases. The whole world could learn a lot about business from Andy Im and Mountain States Toyota!
