Horrible Service Department. Mountain States Toyota provided a great sales experience and I had no disappointments on that level, but that is such a small part of the deal ultimat Mountain States Toyota provided a great sales experience and I had no disappointments on that level, but that is such a small part of the deal ultimately especially when you include the service department. The service department has been horrible over the years to say the least! I have had three different incidents with them over the course and I was very patient on the first two even though the first incident resulted in damage to my new car which they refused to fix. Incident 1: I bought the new car and the windshield was not seated properly. They had a window company repair the window and in the process of repairing the window they put a dent in the trim piece of my FJ Cruiser around the antenna area and I was standing right there when it happened. They refused to fix it since it was their third part window vendor. Incident 2: They did not put in the below 0 windshield washer fluid in my vehicle during a December visit resulting in a fozen reservoir. I was on my way to my family's house about an hour drive away when I realized it and I had my 2-year old in the car when I had to pull over on the side of the highway and throw snow on the windshield to try to get visibility back. Incident 3: This one was the worst! I had my wife and baby in the car waiting for me as I dropped off my car to the service center. I waited by the car for 40 minutes before getting assistance with a large line of people in front and behind me. I showed up 20 minutes early and by the time I got to the service manager, I complained about the wait and that I had my wife and baby in the car. The service manager told me if I HAD SHOWED UP DURING MY SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT TIME, THIS WOULDN'T HAVE HAPPENED! Meanwhile there was two full bays of people waiting and I asked him if he was going to help me in front of all those people that are in line now! He was extremely rude and I called the service directory, Jeff, who refused to take my calls or call me back. In addition, they didn't even send me their normal post-service review! I guess they knew they were going to get a bad one and didn't want to waste their time with that. I haven't and never will be back to that dealership. Buyers beware of the service department! More
