2015 Certified RAV4 from Mountain States and Love it. A year ago we began the task of looking for a new car. We have been driving a 2001 Camry that we purchased new. It has very close to 200,000 miles and other than normal maintenance has been entirely problem free. Because of that history I was pretty sure we would own another Toyota, however we studied a lot and narrowed it down to RAV4, Camry, Forrester or Legacy. We had driven all 4 at that time and did not decide on any of them. About 4 months ago we again visited Mountain Stated and were helped by Joe Solis. He felt less like a salesman and more like a friend. He was very helpful, professional, knowledgeable, and most importantly patient. In my lifetime it has mostly seemed like when you start having trouble making up your mind that's when the salesman starts tightening the screws. Anyway fast forward to last Sunday.....we must get a new car because we are going a trip. On Monday we went one last time to drive a Legacy and a Forrester. My wife fell in love with the Legacy, but then we started with making an offer and the salesman going off to see some mysterious individual for a blessing. Bought many cars in that way through the years and everybody knows.......it makes the overall transaction lousy. Anyway called Joe and drove a new RAV4 and a 2015 certified RAV4 on Tuesday and bought the 2015 on Wednesday. More

Doan Vu is a wonderful salesman! We just purchased a vehicle from Mountain States Toyota and the whole process was wonderful. First off, as we were walking into the dealership, a very friendly salesman, Doan Vu, greeted us and asked what he could do to help. We knew what car we wanted to see and he happily took us right to it and showed us every detail. He was never pushy nor did he try to sell us something we didn't want. We had a couple other vehicles to see at other dealers so we discussed our bottom line and that we would be in touch later with a decision. He was all smiles all the time! While we were at the other dealer, Doan called and had already came back with a final price for us. It was the best deal we could find on that car so back we went to purchase the car from Doan. He patiently worked out any concerns we had and assisted us through the paperwork like a pro! I highly recommend asking for Doan Vu if you want to buy a car; he is kind and knowledgeable and NOT the typical car salesman. He is a chemical engineer full-time and sells cars some nights and weekends because he really enjoys it. Also, the waiting area is great! Lots of tables and cozy couches with free drinks and snacks, TV, Internet, kids area, and super clean bathrooms! One last comment: Kudos to the hiring manager at Mountain States Toyota for selecting such an admirable employee as Doan; many a car salesman could learn a lesson or two from him regarding tact, professionalism, kindness and genuine concern. Terrible service department My wife took our Tacoma in to get the oil changed. After waiting for a few minutes, Eric came out and started working with her. My wife explained that she was there for an oil change, that she didn't an have an appointment, and she was planning on leaving the truck for the day. She explained that she needed a ride to the bus stop, so that she could get to work. Eric said they don't normally do that for just an oil change, but that he would set it up so that she gets a ride. He took her inside, and started suggesting other work that needed to be done. My wife said not at this time, because I had done some work on the truck and she wasn't sure what I had done. Eric said that she should call me to see what work was done, so that she can pay for the work he was aggressively suggesting. She said I can't call him, he is working. After she turned down the suggested work, Erics entire demeanor changed. He mentioned quite loudly around other customers that there was a note in the system saying that she has been notified 3 years ago about not being able to get a ride for an oil change. She apologized and said she honestly didn't remember that. He continued for several minutes saying that this was the last time they would give her a ride, still talking quite loudly. If it is a problem, a simple no would suffice. He did not have to belittle her like that. It is a ride to the bus stop. If she needed to stay and wait for the truck to be done she would have. Instead, she left feeling chastised and scoulded. I can honestly say that we will never return to the service department due to how uncomfortable Eric made her feel. She was very surprised how much his attitude changed when she refused the extras. This happened several months ago, and we have since gone out of our way to south Denver for a better Toyota service More

Best Car Buying Experience Yet I have had some terrible car buying experiences in the past (even returned one car), but this was not one of those experiences. Daniel was very knowle I have had some terrible car buying experiences in the past (even returned one car), but this was not one of those experiences. Daniel was very knowledgeable about the Tacoma. I felt not pressure to buy and was impressed by Daniels calm attitude and great customer service. I would definitely buy from these guys again- We did a lot of shopping and MST beat the price of all others just with the regular price. My only complaint would be the finance part of the deal. We experienced a significant amount of pressure to buy the extras that the clearly stated we did not want. More

I felt like my car wants and needs were respectfully taken care of as opposed to a car salesman trying to sell me more than I wanted or could afford. Sal was great and showed me all available cars that fit what I was looking for and Paula was extremely helpful sorting through all the financial options for me. Very glad I shopped at Mountain States I didn't intend to buy a news car, but my old one made the decision for me. I previously had 4 Toyotas in a 30 year period, 1 new and 3 used. Haven't dealt with Mountain States since moving to Colorado 8 years ago, but Lindsey in the internet department quickly responded to my inquiry. Mountain States is quite close to the retirement center where we live, and I visited because a sales associate at another dealership that I intended to visit was gone for the day. I met Bob right away, and he was very helpful. It quickly became obvious that a particular car had my name on it, but I always have to check cargo capacity of the small cars I buy. We headed home and made sure my wife's harp would fit (very close in a Plrius-C), and also checked my drums (small kit). When they did, we went back to the dealership and started the paperwork. I don't haggle when buying a car, and I've learned the value of a reliable dealership. The price on this Prius was good, and the dealership needs to make a profit to stay in business. Buying at year end is probably the best way to insure a reasonable price. I found that Mountain States has better prices and wider choice than many others in the area. I look forward to a good long-term relationship with Mountain States. More
