The Very Best Auto and Customer Service Just got my 2011 Chevy Malibu back after having a transmission problem repaired and we are extremely pleased with the service as we always are. We had to leave the car for a few days because the parts had to be ordered. We were able to get a loaner car while my car was being repaired so I didn't have to worry about how I would get to work. Jamie let me know how things were progressing with the car and when I called the Service Dept., everyone I talked to was so nice. I never worry about the work they do, because it is always great. My husband and I live in Rocky Face, GA and we ended up at Mountain View Chevrolet in Chattanooga late one afternoon in November of 2010 to take a look at the cars there, we were considering trading my 2005 Malibu. Scott showed us several cars on the lot and answered a lot of our questions. I was concerned that we would be pressured to buy something then, but that did not happen. I liked the 2011 Malibu and decided to take it for a test drive. I loved it and so we decided to buy it then and drive it home. We were impressed with Scott and everyone we dealt with at Mountain View so we wanted to get the service done there also. We have always had the service done there since we bought the car. People ask why we go all the way up there so far away when we could have the service done here in Dalton at a Chevy dealer but we just like everyone at Mountain View Chevrolet and trust the Service Department with our car, so it is worth the trip. My husband always takes the car up there and will continue to do so. Thank you Jamie and everyone! More

Communication is hard to come by Needed service on my truck. Called and was given an appointment 6 days in advance (so they would not be as busy). arrived early and was checked in a Needed service on my truck. Called and was given an appointment 6 days in advance (so they would not be as busy). arrived early and was checked in as the service department opened. Was given a shuttle ride to work. Was called by service advisor at 1130 stating what was wrong and I authorized all but an oil change. Around 230pm, I attempted to see if the truck was ready, or to get a time that it would be ready so I could get a ride back. Never got a reply and called back again an hour later. After a long ordeal, finally go though to the service advisor and was told that the truck would not be ready until the next day. After some frantic effort to try to cope with this, I asked for a loaner vehicle and was told that would not be possible. They could however get my truck back in the shape that I could take it home, but I had to bring it back the next day to have the work done. I had to bum a ride to the dealership from a coworker. Day 2 went just as bad, and was never able to get in touch with the service advisor after I dropped it off, but I did start the process early enough to get a ride back to the dealership via the shuttle service. I believe the system that is in pace to manage the information and the payments is the big reason for the delays and lack of communication. It would be very useful if the receptionist for the service department had visibility into the progress of the vehicle through the computer aided service manager system. Online access to see your own progress would be nice too. It seemed that the service advisors spend way too much time running around like headless chickens trying to find technicians for status updates and paperwork when the system is computer based. More

Best service/Lowest rates I haven't used this Chevrolet dealership before, and I had what I believed to be a loose oil filter causing a leak. I went ahead and scheduled an oil change and tire rotation. Well It did take them a little longer than expected but they were more friendly than some of the other Chevrolet dealerships I have used, and they had much better rates than any of them as well. More
Convertible Top Leaking I purchased a used convertible Camaro (not at Mountain View) and it turned out that water was leaking out of the drain system into the back floor when I purchased a used convertible Camaro (not at Mountain View) and it turned out that water was leaking out of the drain system into the back floor when it rained. It turned out to be a very complex fix which took longer than expected. However I was most concerned that it be done correctly. Craig Bush kept me informed of their progress and at the end of the process, no leaks after a rain. Their service made me feel much better about owning the car. I will put them on my list for regular service in the future. More
Failed to Keep Promises in Written Contract Written promises made when we bought car were not kept by dealership. Having small children we wanted a same size (SUV) replacement if we had significant repairs that required the car to be in overnight. We have this agreement in writing from the dealership. It is a reason we bought here instead of driving to Atlanta for a cheaper priced vehicle. However when our car was kept for several days this written promise was not honored. We were told "higher ups" blocked the service representative from honoring the written contract. I liked the representative but, when I stated I would be happy to escalate the issue personally as this was a big deal to us, I was not put in touch with management. I believe promises should be honored. Written promises should be immediately honored by every staff member. The fact that management refused to honor a written promise will mean we will be buying a car elsewhere next time around. Apparently even written promises by this dealership mean nothing. More
