However, the dealership, thinking it was the battery/starter/etc., insisted: "We do not sell junk - bring it in and we will do whatever necessary to make it right." I had purchased two extra "chip" keys (from a 3rd party) for the truck, and it turned out that the original key had not been reprogrammed - problem solved. Recently purchased a nightmare of an F150 from this dealership back in March 2020. At 1300 miles the truck broke down on I95 and needed to be towed. After receiving a 100% assurance the issue was resolved, wouldn't you know it, the truck broke down again at 2300 miles. Still hadn't made my first payment and I was already driving a loaner vehicle around town. The second time the truck was in service, they found the sensor that was defective from the factory and also replaced a defective starter. Next issue was water collecting on the passenger side floor boards, in my brand new $44,000 truck. Brought it in for service and was told the a.c. drain was defective and there was a "bolo" for the issue. Mullinax replaced the a.c. and the next day after picking the vehicle up, the passenger side floor boards were soaked, again. After a few days in the shop, they found a seal in the firewall that was not properly seated from the factory. Not a problem if the truck had just rolled of the assembly line, but I purchased a new 2019 model in March of 2020. The truck has been sitting out in the elements, in FLORIDA, exposed to all the heat and moisture since it's inception. Dealership used a water extraction machine to dry out the carpets and utterly ruined them. When I showed the service manager the new defects, he stated everything looked and felt normal to him. We even went to a brand new truck and compared the carpets and was told he did not see any difference. After being asked what I would like them to do, I explained that I would like new carpets. The manager loudly exclaimed, "That's not happening". Makes me feel great to have spent my entire savings on truck that is now a potential health hazard. Currently working on a "buy back" with Ford corporate, but it should never have had to come to this. After the second time the truck broke down (at 2300 miles), I went to the sales manager and asked if there was anything I could do. His best option was to start from scratch and trade the truck in. Not an option as I had laid out my savings on the current truck and did not have another $10K to start from scratch. Called the Mullinax service department a few days ago for a copy of my service history to be emailed over to me. The truck was towed to another dealership the first time it broke down and the service advisor at Mullinax said he couldn't access their records. I called Palm Bay Ford and they were able to run down EVERYTHING that had been done to the truck both there and at Mullinax. Was also told by one of the service advisors that my firewall issue was a recall. Funny thing is, I can't find anything on Ford's website or the entire internet backing this claim up. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP, YOU WILL NOT BE SATISFIED, use another dealer, heck, buy a Chevy!! More

This was the easiest truck buying ever, from the sales person to the general mgr. We had an issue two days after purchasing our vehicle and they went above and beyond make it right. Shena went above and beyond to make sure everything about my purchase was painless and pleasant. This was especially impressive considering COVID.
